angelaguilera··on Eclipse GlassFish: This Isn't Your Father's GlassFish
Nope. From the glassfish.org web page: "Eclipse GlassFish is a lightweight yet powerful open-source application server that fully implements the Jakarta EE platform."
angelaguilera··on A proof checker meant for education
Which kind of software license uses Deduce? The web says it's open source, but I couldn't find the license in the github repository.
angelaguilera··on Gitlab names Bill Staples as new CEO
> If IBM acquires and puts it under the red hat umbrella, they have a history of opening up products that were previously more closed.

As a former CentOS user, I politely disagree with this.

angelaguilera··on How to unit test code that depends on time
The book "Test Driven: Practical TDD and Acceptance TDD for Java Developers" (Lasse Koskela, ed. Manning) includes a chapter titled "Test-driving the unpredictable", with several techniques for testing time-based functionality. Highly recommended.

angelaguilera··on Show HN: Firefox extension to obfuscate web page text
This is really nice! May I suggest an option to "deobfuscate" certain parts of the web page? For example, after you obfuscate the page with alt+shift+O, then you could click on some parts of the page to de-obfuscate them. Sometimes you want to hide only certain parts of the page while keeping others untouched (page headers/footers, titles, etc.).
angelaguilera··on Ask HN: Please Dark Mode for HN
As a workaround, I have been using Materialistic to browse HN from my Android phone. It has a nice dark theme, which I use by default.
