I haven't used CockroachDB, but it looks like they have a `SQL Dump` command [0] that can work as a backup. It looks like it is a simpler backup command than the command described in the blog post.

After the app is loaded, the registerServiceWorker.js is executed. It checks for updated sources and updates the cache then. For the user to actually see those changes, the user will need to refresh the page. The relevant lines are here [0].

This looks like Tutum, which was bought by Docker in Oct '15 [0], has been fully integrated into the Docker ecosystem. I enjoyed using Tutum for a few of my small side projects.

I had the exact same experience happen to me in a phone interview. I told the interviewer he had already asked me those questions. He told me to just go ahead and answer them again. Needless to say, I aced the phone screen since we went over all of the answers together the first time round.

I was looking into that too. Based on this job.json[0] definition from the git repo, it looks like it just executes the command. So I believe you could have the job written in any language.

But I think this also means you have to copy every job executable to every server that might have a chance of running the job.
