My daily Linux was PopOS but I switched back to Ubuntu because of reliability issues. Ubuntu LTS is just fine but if you are looking for a lightweight Linux go with Debian.
I have a System 76 laptop that I bought it 4 years ago. It has reliable. Although PopOS has not been reliable. Their support and customer service is great. Drivers work and I'm happy with it.
Nothing happened. It was an informal technical interview with the program manager at JAX. 1 hour call and the interview was remote but describing him as opinionated and entitled is an understatement. Best of luck to them.
I am looking to upgrade my old Pixel 3 XL. I use my phone with I love Google cameras and pure android software. I don't like Samsung UIs. I am wondering what a good option for me beside Google is phones.
I'm a PhD student and I use all their products. When I graduate this semester and I lose my student license I'm back to vim. I just need syntax highlighting. I hope I know enough about the languages I code with that I don't need extra help.
I took qualifying exam on the last semester after I finished the thesis. They [university officials] thought in their system I have left the program. I had only 4 weeks to study for the exam because my advisor gave me a ultimatum after he thought I took the exam already. I was working full-time at this time and couldn't take 4 weeks off. After so much praying, I got the highest score, and I ended up becoming a Christian because of all the praying. It worked out at the end.
I own a system 76. It has been reliable but I really really miss my 2015 MacBook pro. I stayed with the company longer just because of that laptop and left when they gave us butterfly keyboard MacBook pro.
I have a dumb question. Do advertised salaries in EU include tax or are tax deducted. Because I'm the US you get paid $100k but there are taxes and healthcare costs that need to be deducted.
I'm dealing with something similar. I wanted to use Redfish to clear out hard drives but storage is not standardize across different vendors. Dell has a secure erase. HPE gen10 has smart storage and anything older doesn't have any useful functionality in their Redfish API. What a mess. So I need to use PXE booting and probably winpe to do this.
