alsufinow··on Show HN: An AI-native workspace for founders with zero-knowledge encryption
Hey HN, we've been building Planless for a year, more on our story in my profile. Single workspace that replaces your docs, sheets, email, calendar, scheduling, forms, notes, and task management with one data model and an AI that has full context across all of it.

What it does:

- AI references your revenue sheet while drafting an investor email, sets up branded booking pages mid-voice-call, adjusts financial models in a live spreadsheet while you're talking to it

- Orbis 7.5 fine-tuned on open weights for founder workflows. Fundraising, financial modeling, investor comms, YC-style ops, burn rate analysis. Has opinions. Will tell you your pricing model is weak.

- Sub-350ms voice(200-600ms), native not bolted on.

- Agentic takes actions while you're asleep*

- Sheets engine with 500+ functions, multi-sheet support, real modeling depth Sends from your real Gmail via OAuth 2.0. Google verified our security for Gmail, Calendar, and Drive

- Spatial workspace — nested spaces inside spaces, renders as canvas/kanban/table/calendar/analytics with one click

Security:

- Zero-knowledge. AES-256-GCM in the browser. Key derived from passphrase via PBKDF2, never leaves your device We store ciphertext only. No key escrow. No backdoor. Forget your passphrase and we cannot recover your data. By design. TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest

well my friend sure i wouldn't die for tech. but i would die for the idea of trying to escape and live a better life, make a change, and perhaps change the whole world and it all starts from tech

this thread isnt to debate this good sir. my message is that we all live in bubbles. and i mean that with some judgment. yours is built from your street, your school, your feed, your city. mine was built from the same things too. neither of us chose that. we were born into it. the founder in san francisco losing sleep over DAUs isn't delusional. the kid in lagos grinding for their first customer isn't behind. they're both exactly right about the world they're standing in. u have to look further than your own feet to see the truth

the iranian people are not their government. never were. i have met iranians, i have broken bread with them, they are warm and brilliant and tired. so tired. they deserve better than what they have been handed. i hope for the same thing. i hope this doesn't spread and thank you my friend

i hear you. i'm not going to agree or debate it though, not because i don't care, i'm jordanian, i care deeply. but this thread has been something special tonight and i want to keep it about building. stay safe wherever you are

Hey HN, I'm Mohammad (19, Jordan). My co-founder Connor is 21 and currently somewhere in the ocean working 12-hour shifts on oil rigs. Between not drowning and trying to fund this thing, we built Planless.

Planless started because we needed it ourselves. Every productivity tool felt like a chore. We'd try something, use it for a week, abandon it. Nothing stuck. So we built this for us, and it actually worked. We built the entire product inside Planless itself.

Connor has maybe a few hours between shifts. We can't waste time, so we needed to stay in flow.

We started with just planning and organizing, but we needed actual hands-on support. We kept saying "I wish we had Jarvis." So we said fuck it, let's build it.

The AI (your sidekick) lives in the workspace with you. You talk to it and it remembers, builds a relationship with you like Jarvis from Iron Man. It learns when you work, what stresses you, how you think and what are you trying to achieve. Working on something and need research? It does it. Need a doc written? It writes with you. Budget sheet? It builds it. Need an email sent? It writes it and sends it. Meeting? Books it. You cantal to it with voice and it responds back, it can do multistep operations from one prompt in seconds.

The workspace is spatial. Your brain thinks in connections, one idea branches into others. Create a space for marketing with tasks and notes inside. Need deeper focus? Create another space inside that. Click the card, you're in a new board. Navigate with tree structure in the sidebar, breadcrumbs, or ask the AI. You also have different tab for tasks, notes, calendar and you can filter by space.

Analytics show when you're most productive, where time goes. AI analyzes in real time, learns over time.

Here's the thing: no pillar works without the others. Email, calendar, tasks, notes, docs, sheets with 527 functions, themes across everything. They all make sense because the AI is inside connecting it all. This isn't a team tool. It's personal. Made to understand you as a person, your tasks, your notes. Real-time collab is coming soon, but right now this is your space that adapts to you and helps you move forward.

We're in beta. Try it for free and tell us what breaks.
