allanscuon Ask HN: Place to recruit Android Beta Testers

I'm working on fixing a critical bug that my beta users discovered. As soon as I get this next build out, I'll email you an apk. Thanks!

Good job Wompt!

allanscuon I'm 15. I just got covered on Mashable and TNW

Congratulations!

allanscuon Ask HN: What do you think of my site's redesign and landing page?

Very clean. Maybe the "how it works" should go on the front page.

allanscuon Ask HN: Hackathon at Launch?

-- Reliable Internet is important: I was at SuperHappyDevHouse 42 in San Jose last weekend and the wireless was slow... really.. slow -- Energy Drinks: Rockstar and Red Bull! -- Ice Breakers: It's great to have a bunch of people there, but it would be so much better if there was a timeout in the main room and we did a simple "get to know you"

allanscuon Ask YC: Do you know of any web 2.0 sites where most users are computer illiterate?

Any picture-only type website doesn't require much from the user. So I Picasa and Flickr and YouTube (and web 1.0's hotornot.com) fall within this category.

It doesn't take much to look at a picture/video and click. Or if they want to submit their own content, it isn't hard to browse, upload and submit.
