Yet another double edged sword like LLMs. It would make a great brain computer interface and would let you communicate telepathically, and also be used by people who don't trust you like toxic workplaces and court proceedings
Yes I know this is not exactly the subject of the article but brain scanning which is how this was done could be used for those things too.
That is not normal. Were you able to use the arch wiki? Omarchy is a version of arch Linux. Omarchy should direct users to the arch wiki for any issues they face
The reactor vessel is technically always factory made, and the containment building (pit?) structures are built as separate prefabricated modules that are just lowered into the containment building, like a prefabricated building is assembled on site
Apparently op cares a lot about speed, which is fine, but ML researchers care about correctness first, speed second. And it makes sense, because they are not as resource constrained as OP.
Nowadays clothes are cheap enough to be disposable once they become riddled with fungus in the tropics. Since buying a new one is cheap and convenient unlike repairing one and also looks better, no one repairs clothes anymore so sewing machines are now mostly used in factories for mass production of clothing
As always, it's countries in the global south that can't get EVs because they are sold locally for twice the price of an ICE car, even when both are made by the Chinese. So hybrids, price wise are a middle ground because they use smaller batteries which are less expensive
The thing that makes people think you are against socialism is, this very website, which means towards American exceptionalism rather hard and socialism is the antithesis to that so it's often criticized here and by other right wing places
They have hundreds of machines that use microwaves, turbo molecular pumps like cvd, ion implantation, plasma etching, idk what else? I'd say it's just the sheer density of equipment within. An average fab has 2000 tools aka machines for wafers alone
There is a whole niche in semiconductor called abatement which usually involves burning fluorine based gases used for etching, in order to make them less hazardous before releasing them into the environment. They use natural gas for combustion. The chemicals are not liquids anymore just gases because they are easier to control and manipulate with plasma via e.g. dry etching, CVD, ion implant
Their only complaint with Claude has been hallucinations when using it for things like remembering business rules, but that's an easy fix since it has no Access to them and the company is large enough to be different from other companies which causes the hallucinations
I work at an airline where Claude is replacing data analysis tools like excel, data visualization tools like power bi, all that's left is dynatrace because it does it all automatically like Claude does. Many bespoke data processing or data analysis tools for non programmers are being replaced by Claude suscriptions, like excel, power bi, spss, tableau, those are the most used I think. No Python data analysis nor big data tools like pandas, numpy, apache superset are being replaced though
