algoth1··on Gemini 4 Argon
the thing is, by the time gemini 4 is available for regular folks, anthropic and openai will probably have much better models already rolled out
algoth1··on Gemini 4 Argon (High): Intelligence, Performance and Price Analysis
The most impressive jump for me is in the low hallucination rate, which is specially impressive given how bad Gemini current models are on this regard

algoth1··on GPT 6.1 Sol: Near-Astra intelligence for a fifth of the price
It was so underwhelming that it didn't even make it to chatgpt chat interface
algoth1··on OpenAI is enlisting an influencer army to make it look 'good for the world'
Not sure why I'm being down voted. She was initially diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome aka "the suicide disease" for how much pain it causes, and heavily medicated. Her official genetic test didn't found anything, but trough years of iteration of a mixture of codex and Claude code over her raw genetic data we built a working theory of what might be wrong and trough cupious daily notes, labs, and over several iterations of feeding the notes to different ais (whatever was the best Ai at the time, with the exception of fable due to the refusals), we manage to get her to a much better situation where she can now tolerate touch up to the toe line and can also tolerate phisioteraphy. Turns out her genes point towards a very weird energy and electrolyte deficit that must be approached from a very unique angle. The first real impact of an llm on the condition was via o1-preview

Well, if it wasn't for llms my wife would still be bedridden 24/7 and doctors would still be thinking the problem was mostly psychological. So if OpenAI wants to pay me, just reach out and I'll share everything to my dozens of social media followers

so, it IS a glorified if/else block, just in an actual awesome sense and not in a derogatory sense :D
algoth1··on Xiaomi MiMo v2.6
I still have a xiaomi mi 11 lite, my wife has a 15t. The cameras are the best for the price. The way they chove ads down your throat at every opportunity should be illegal though

Finally a lab that doesn't cheat on the charts
algoth1··on Grok 4.7
I've noticed Chatgpt 5.6 Sol High, on the chat interface, inventing words that are a mixture of Portuguese and English. Like "hardcodar" a mix of "hardcode" and the most common verb ending in Portuguese "-ar". Some don't have a single google hit
algoth1··on Kev: Tiny Jev-like family of decision models built on top of Qwen3.5
Jev feels more and more like a glorified if/else if block

Courts have ruled they can, as long as they pay for the content. Yes it's amoral at best, but lawful. Using a trademark in your brand name is not. You can't create "OpenExcel" or "OpenOpenAi"
algoth1··on OpenJev
It looks claudish in writing style
algoth1··on OpenJev
Isn't Jev a trademark?

algoth1··on Why is Google still serving dodgy ads?
that's because the only rule they are investigating is if it makes them more money leaving it there and paying an eventual fine or removing it

I can’t tell if you are being serious or sarcastic. Assuming you are being real, and as someone who has to listen to boring youtube videos to help falling asleep, i have a few questions: how long is the story? What happens after the story ends? Like, does it turn off the voice feature or does it stay on and randomly speaks during the night?

I have it as well. This is how i explain it to regular folks: most people have an whole neural network dedicated to processing the human face, memorizing its feutures and matching them to the people in front of them. But when they look at trees they cant really distinguish a pine tree from another pine tree, unless the differences are extreme: one is brunt down, or has a weird shaped trunk, etc. If they try to recall a specific pine tree all they can recall is a messy green spiky blob. Why? Because their brain has no neural network dedicated to identifying trees. For us, the human face is as distinguishable as a tree
