Also, it would be fun to have a few more sound tracks.
This game is addictive :)
I understand that the concept is around collecting all the tweets.
Just my thoughts:
- The tweet block can be an avatar image of the person who tweeted
- If the tweet has a photo, maybe the background of the play area can change to that
Will give my thoughts in another comment.
I'd do everything but get into the kitchen to cook...
"While some of the apps have received additional features, it seems likely that the increase in size is mainly down to the huge graphics needed to fill the new iPad's 2048 x 1536 Retina Display. It's worth remembering that these are only download sizes, and once installed the apps may be even larger. Regular apps will likely receive a similar bump in size once developers update them with hi-def graphics"
"iPad apps up to five times larger..."
One thing I would like to see is being able to export these vector graphics to other formats.
Edit
PaintCode is a simple vector drawing app that instantly generates resolution-independent Objective-C drawing code for both Mac OS X and iOS.
You no longer have to tweak and recompile your drawing code over and over again to achieve the desired result.
The Core Graphics video is interesting. Live rendering like that can help developers see what they are actually coding. The whole compile and test cycle just breaks the chain of thought which goes on while coding.
Also, you can see a bunch of meetups on meetup.com, doattend.com and ayojak.com

Seems to me that the functions are pretty minimal right now. Would be nice to see the complex functions getting mapped on the gestures. Otherwise, it is a great step towards minimalism.
Also, looks like the UI was inspired from Metro somewhere in the thought process of the app. Everything is flat with no gloss anywhere.
Let's see if this can start a trend towards this kind of apps.

Every developer has their own preference. Many prefer TextMate over other text editors. Others just like e on windows.
I have been following the development of Sublime Text 2 and TextMate 2 closely for some time now, and it is for sure a better editor than many others. Sublime has come a long way from the initial version.
But from the terminal I just like the same old vim.
This is probably what inspired the latest Microsoft Research demo http://research.microsoft.com/apps/video/?id=160684

I would really like to make a swimming pool without a ladder and a sim swim in it, and watch it drown evil laugh on the ipad.
It is some interesting take on how an admin interface should look like. Were you using this in any of your projects and decided to take it out as a theme?
How long have you been working on it?
I believe that even though Microsoft has just "metrofied" the start menu, this is still a leap forward in terms of UI.
I understand that Metro apps are still evolving, and this is just the beginning. Wait till we get to see the Marketplace open to developers and some amazing apps being released.
Makes me go back to when I was playing around with Macromedia Flash Onion skin for the first time.

Another thing which chrome does nice is when you are closing tabs one after another. The tabs resize in a manner that you have the close button of the next tab right under your pointer. Therefore, there is no need to move your cursor. Just click away. I find it particularly useful at various occasions.
Having a Retina display iPad is a big achievement in itself. No matter what they call it, it is still going to beat all other tablets this year.
They launched iPhone 4S when everyone was saying that it is time for iPhone 5. Who knows what they are going to do.
