aeosynth··on Inferno: A fast, React-like JavaScript library for building UIs
> Inferno uses intelligent techniques to separate static and dynamic content. This allows Inferno to only "diff" renders that have dynamic values.

Can this be expanded? If/when the intelligent diffing fails, I'd like to know how to fix it.

aeosynth··on My Experience with Nix on OS X
... except on OSX. Really I just wanted something to take the place of an Arch Linux AUR helper, the way Nix replaces Homebrew.
aeosynth··on My Experience with Nix on OS X
Nix is not great for casual Linux desktop usage - I tried installing the Atom editor, and cancelled when I saw X11 being downloaded. You might as well run NixOS in a VM.

Chrome auto added Github search in my url bar - g<Tab>search.

Dina only goes up to 10pt, which is too small for me. 14pt Terminus is great.

I find it simple enough to fire up a REPL to inspect JSON. Node.js 4.0+ supports arrow functions, and you can use babel-node if you want even more future JS features.

it sounds like they've given up on github, but they'll still work on their project.

aeosynth··on CSS Sans – A pure CSS font
Would it really though? Bots can beat CAPTCHA.
aeosynth··on What happens when you type Google.com into your browser's address box
It does not matter for the purposes of this project. You could go even further back and look at how the browser renders the location bar, how the OS starts the browser, how the machine boots the OS.... None of those matter, even if they are interesting in their own right.

aeosynth··on How to choose?
i think you're confused on what a 'last digit' is. the seconds digits (plural) contain two digits, which range from 0-59; the last digit (singular) ranges from 0-9
aeosynth··on How to choose?
if the stopwatch uses base 10, the last digit will be in the range [0, 9], making n >=10 irrelevant. in this range, 0 and 1 appear 3 times; 2 and 3 appear 2 times.

if the stopwatch uses hex, then 0-3 will appear equally often in this case
