adversaryIdiot··on Rocket Carrying Astronaut's Cremated Remains Blows Up at Launch
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I'd be completely fine with my cremations being blown up on launch. Kind of funny.
adversaryIdiot··on Shoot the arrow, then paint the target around it
Thats what makes art, art. The ambiguity means that more and more people are able to take a realistic interpretation of your art and enjoy it

I'd actually say that there is a shortage of opportunity and that most people are willing to put in the work or already have put in the work but it was just never fruitful

adversaryIdiot··on The world moves slower than you think: a case for ChatGPT skepticism
is it bad to say good riddance? They ruined google with their blatant copy and pasting of information. Finding any decent, unique information has basically become impossible.
adversaryIdiot··on Everything Is a Practice
I've become a 'handyman' in the way that this article alludes to. A big problem that I come across when saying "yes" to every problem that peaks my curiosity is that Ive become mentally drained.

I end up spending a lot of time and energy hacking away at problems. The problem is, it seems like my mind isn't resilient enough to keep up with it. After a certain point there comes an onset of fatigue, frustration, and just general feelings of discomfort that drones on in the back of my conscious.

I guess this is to be expected. The muscles of my mind have been overexerted and need rest. A remedy to this is to "go with the flow" of my mood/feelings. Which sometimes contradicts my undying feeling of curiosity. It becomes a balancing act between the two.

I dunno ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I say that its the exact same situation for me. Except by being older, I'm only 25 now. My suspicion is that this effect to due to my prefrontal cortex maturing? Because I'm much more introspective and meticulous now when it comes to learning, thinking, feeling etc.

adversaryIdiot··on Meta stops offering remote work in new job postings
This goes to show that it doesn't take talent to be one of the worlds richest. It just takes luck. And Zuck has run away from what made him so lucky. He will fall.

adversaryIdiot··on Anxiety can be created by the body, mouse heart study suggests
Yeah, I discovered it by trying to figure out why my resting heart rate and blood pressure was higher than it should be for an athletic person. Used to take beta blockers to slow things down (Which I do wanna say made me more calm). Turns out the medication was causing more damage, ACE inhibitors would have been better. Right now I'm not taking anything.

Just getting tests every 6 months and waiting for the time to come. I have fine resting heart rate around 70bpm and 130 blood pressure avg. (These numbers went down after college)
