Counterfeit Jobs is just the media being the media. Lei Ju dressed like Steve and presented like him. They have done nothing remotely innovative as a company. Their phones looked like duplicates of the iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy lineup for years, which from my understanding, is why they haven't entered the U.S. or other markets yet.
I don't think people realize how sophisticated network security software is and how easy it is use. There is a good chance you're being watched and what you do is in a weekly or monthly report. Certain things you do send a notification to admins or your boss.
I don't think it is fair to say it is not possible. There is an AI system out there that has correctly predicted the superfecta for the Kentucky Derby based soley on user predictions.
I see this essentially as Cook protecting shareholder value against really poor analysis because the quarterly reports don't break down watch sales figures into its own category. How does the gift card Black Friday deal cut into revenue, is the question I have.
I'm sort of in the same boat? I don't want cable but it is cheaper bundling it with internet. I receive two extra channels than I would get from an antenna and the cable company tells shareholders their subscriber base is still going strong.
He's missing the big picture, in my mind. Pc sales may be in decline but aside from a few quarters, Apple has sold more macs by more than 6 times it did when it plateaued ten years ago. Sales have been on a steady incline because they were always selling miniscule amounts compared to the other cheap brands on the market. There was almost no where to go but up. It's not milking anything.
They're trying to charge for the ease? of doing things like sending notifications for item creation in Sharepoint lists, when Sharepoint does this already for you free. It looks like a hard push for transitioning the whole suite of products to the Azure cloud. $$
I believe that article stated Morgan Stanley / Banks were hiring based on using Hacker Rank to screen candidates with their own unique tests, not rankings. It didn't involve the default questions William went through, though similar.
I'm curious to know if any phone is made like this. The Surface is also almost impossible to replace on your own and about the same cost as you mention.
I'm also skeptical but believe it isn't coincidental that when I signed up, it recommended some people from my Gmail account. I had my country and city set as Beijing, China. The only other recommendations were from people in that area, I didn't know, because I'm really in the U.S.
It is definitely happening. I checked Facebook yesterday and it was trending over 1M metric (views/shares?) at that time. Everyone is writing about it.
I'm receiving the communication about 2-3 months ahead of that schedule due to the excess mileage I'm driving. At about 6k miles, my tire sensor was going on and off for a few days, then I received an email specifically to come in to check the tire pressure. It may have be coincidence, but it's highly unlikely at this point.
It's starting to get out of hand. I purchased a Toyota last year and magically get updates and phone calls about scheduling maintenance. This means the car is sending data to the mothership without anyone realizing it. They have all your driving habits and likely share it with however they want. You can't stop it and most people don't realize it is even happening.
I may be wrong, but I don't necessarily see this as a place to give tips about doing our getting away with illegal activities, even if it is directly related to the article.
I remember this very vaguely about 3-4 year back but I believe Backpage pretty much publicly said they were there to fill the void. If Craigslist doesn't want to deal with it, then come on over! Craigslist was a warning shot. Backpage new that fully and sprinted into harms way. $$
It seems there was insurance on the satellite but not on the rocket. The insurance didn't cover it blowing up during the prelaunch testing phase. The third article states they are getting insurance monies and having SpaceX launch another rocket instead of taking the $50m. So, take your guess as to what the real story is at this point.
They are wildly guessing based on the past in my view. MarketWatch.com has an author that's been predicting the market crash for the past 3-4 years. Eventually he will be right.
I don't think most people are as close to being "them" as you think. We're not teetering on a society about to collapse into sending a meaningful amount of people into prison.
I believe that is exactly what punitive damages are. J&J caused harm. Since it's not a criminal case, the punitive damages are punishment and a deterrent for them and others not to harm consumers.
