Wow, your mom is so cool!
adityamwagh··on Auto mode is now the default in Claude Code
You can also set plan mode as default and start Claude with —allow-dangerously-skip-permissions.

Then you can spent time refining the plan, then shift tab to bypass permissions mode.

This is great. What are some features that you don’t have yet?
adityamwagh··on Rethinking legal education in the AI era
You can't become "smart" just like that and "learn to think". It takes years od dedicated effort to reach that stage. Getting into a competitive school takes just that - years of dedicated effort.

> "smart guy with access to AI tools" can perform as well as any other trained lawyer

You are seriously understating the ability of a trained lawyer and overstating the ability AI tools.

adityamwagh··on Ente – Opening Our Books
Happy to be one of those people contributing those numbers! :) It's a great privacy friendly service.
adityamwagh··on SpaceX wants to launch 100k more Starlink satellites for 100x the bandwidth
Yes, GDP doesn't say anything about the individual wealth. But we are talking about the whole country here.
adityamwagh··on C++20 Improved the For-Loop Syntax
> It seems to me that the C++ Standards Committee is doing a decent job maintaining the language, and introducing useful features when it makes sense to do so.

This can’t be further from truth. C++ is essentially Frankenstein’s monster.

What makes you think india is "super super" poor? India's GDP is humongous (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nomi...).

adityamwagh··on Apple to increase spend with Broadcom to produce billions more U.S. chips
Labour is one part of the equation. China has really well-designed supply chains and economic zones, where getting access to related components just means walking/driving few minutes down the road. They have made huge strides in robotics as well, so the argument for demographic collapse is weak IMHO.

> inevitable decline or elimination of China as a production and/or trading partner

I don't think this will happen anytime soon, that companies will need short-term planning.

adityamwagh··on Michael Caine's new AI audiobook is everything that's wrong with Hollywood
Unfortunately, most money with least effort has always been everyone's goal ahaha. AI just exacerbates this problem.
adityamwagh··on Fika Jobs raises $4M to build platform where AI agents interview candidates
I hate that this idea is being funded. Asking candidates to talk to a lifeless video bot is so humiliating.
adityamwagh··on Show HN: TikZ Editor – WYSIWYG editor for figures in LaTeX
Hey! I've always wanted something like this! Thanks for building this!
adityamwagh··on Hospitals and universities repurposing drugs at lower cost
This was so hurtful and blood boiling to read. How is stuff like this allowed to happen?
adityamwagh··on Wages in America Are Too Low for the 30% Rule to Work for Renters Anymore
It’s also a diabolical amount. My friend bought a house in San Jose, and both, the buyers and sellers agent got $50,000 each on a $2M house. They didn’t even help with the house search much.
adityamwagh··on UK Brings in Full Social Media Ban for Under-16s
They will want a smartphone if their friends have it.
adityamwagh··on US Government directive to suspend access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5
I was about to upgrade from Pro plan to the Max plan today because I had a really positive experience with Fable 5. Glad I didn't!
adityamwagh··on Buy a train, bridge or tracks from the Swiss Railway
I'm not against it. It's just that it's the first time seeing a bridge being sold in my life.
adityamwagh··on Buy a train, bridge or tracks from the Swiss Railway

This is a great initiative. HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT NEW. This has already been tried and tested successfully in Singapore.
