achillesheels··on Spinoza’s God: Einstein believed in it, but what was it?
What presupposes the question is if there is a reason for the creation? As Aristotle mentions in his physics a beginning presupposes an end. In that, there is a principled order towards attaining an end. What principles things? Minds do. So a blind cosmic event does not due the the creation of the cosmos justice. In that, it was a marvelous idea.

I mean, look at the monuments ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s myopic to judge the tech world around mobile apps instead of the decades long capitalizations that can bring mass market super computers into the palm of our hands.

Now compare that to the research interests over the same time-horizon. We still have psychology departments not educating basic cellular biology as a graduation requirement!

Irrespective of the self-rationalization, if their success is conditional on their starting place, how can one judge it to be “lucky”? It must necessarily be predetermined, correct?

We need integrity in markets so that our future well-being is secured. I suspect your judgment is a major reason why your ancestry never cultivated sophisticated capital markets.

The liberation from material bondage is a goal for most of the world religions. Where does it begin? When people quit being vain. Therein lies the rub.
achillesheels··on How to get yourself to do things (2015)
I love to-do lists simply as a way of getting me started on a task. The efforts to machine instruct, line by line, each discrete step, makes tasks more manageable, for one, and I am able to think out unknown unknowns along the way. By eliminating abstractions in the task, the task is nearer completion through brute force execution.

What is the rate of metabolic affordances created by women in relation to men? Isn’t this biologically necessarily male due to its sexual dimorphic traits in the biological life kingdom? What are the compounding utilization rates of income from women who elect not to marry and create life in relation to men which have evolutionary selective pressures to bring home the bacon and therefore become more active investors, ie entrepreneurial, by necessity?

The displacement of men from the labor markets has created a lack of stable patrimonial family formation, which is consistent with the Marxian doctrine’s intellectually revolutionary advocacy and its propagation into the American educational institutions over the last century in time. See the top cited references in the last century in the Western World for corroboration.

[For those unaware, Marx was violently opposed to family creation as necessarily female enslavement (see the second chapter of the Communist Manifesto).]

Patrimony has natural merit for creating principled savings and investments demonstrative in civilized record. Yet most American children are educated by the Nanny State and lack the proper tools to learn how to survive and thrive at being human - a universally patrilineal hereditary trait known as culture.

This form of culture is distinct from one which is unnaturally formed, such as by profit-motivations or ultimately temporal, metabolic functions rather than spiritual contemplation. This is seen consistent with decline in the American population’s affirmation of a transcendental existence conferred by the rise of an Atheistic population. What quantity of atheists were raised not simply with a spiritual life, but a natural one, existing outside of the metabolic motivations of federally legislated education? How does this correspond with the growth of Marxian publications in Academia compared to British Enlightenment literature including the great works of the Occident, such as Aristotle? We ought to be able to compare catalogs over time of the shift and denial of Western Patrimony as good. And I believe the shift exists, demonstrating a disintegrated sexually dimorphic society with transsexual cultural phenomenon as manufactured. Viz, unnaturally formed and therefore biologically morbid. See the overweight phenomenon as further evidence of the morbid nature of the civil authorities.

I think you are coming at this with the judgment that his statements are malicious as opposed to honest reflections of how he perceives the world. I was educated at a Hebrew Day School and I found his consideration of “self-righteous impunity” of Israel state violence to be thought provoking, given the traditions dogmatic belief in its elected grace. Yet such opinions are muffled because? Oh that’s right, the majority of people cannot handle deep thought and get scared weighing ideas which are not the consensus. This Nietzsche called the “herd morality”; to censor is practically totalitarian and inimical to the American Founding Republic which savors self-independence which breeds liberty of conscience to promote the conscience liberty in others. It’s a shame people are not educated in this country to handle ideas and therefore liberty.

Don’t those laws promote human life? And by life, we can definite it to be a “self-moving power”, as Plato defines it in his Laws.

Thaaaaannnkkk you. It has technically been reserved for Christian Aristocracy, which is practically a world where there is no desperation for calories. Instead many of the greats had an anxiety of their immortality (see Fourier).

What myths and stories are you referring to? Hesiod’s Works and Days is opposed to exactly what you suggest. And the Myth of Eden in Judaism - the received tradition of its origin - is a commentary and the need to toil in life.

Both “Athens and Jerusalem” are principled according to honest toil. And look at the results!

I apologize if it came across as a straw man. After all, what is the purpose of voting if it is not to affirm a gradient of action in the determination of society, presumably for promoting the well-being of each other?

And I would wager that an individual who requires transacting in foreign markets as an effect of their properties will have more information and therefore more determination than yourself, a dog who has no concept of civilized record. :P Thus I do not find it abysmal that such individuals have more representation in the determination of public policy. I in fact have stipulated that blind dogmatism of democracy is actually harmful - which the American Republic was cognizant of.

(As to the point of how such personas with the need to be political to preserve their wealth and how it effects your locality, I am an advocate of laissez-faire whereby oligarch penetration in human communities is not possible because federal legislation was never intended to regulate neighborhoods.)

Prey tell, how is Michael Dell or Steve Wozniak a tyrant?

And do you consider yourself lucky or unlucky in life? Your handle suggests the latter.

I can attest I do not wish to share my wealth with those who are cynics ;) does that make me a bad human? Does it make me a bad human that I choose to cultivate myself further, exacting greater human flourishing in the process? Am I lucky to do so, or am I determined to do so? And how is society not benefiting from my greater efforts at being human, which necessarily implicates more integration with my fellow race?

achillesheels··on Gen Z is going to have a hard time getting rich
So you are against the ability to speak unlimitedly? And who is to say your judgments are superior or that this individual’s public policy is necessarily inferior?

People who have the ability to move things tend to move more things. I don’t see this as explicitly wrong, but natural. On the other hand, efforts to give masses of people disproportionate political rights have led to more murder in the last century than any in civilized record. And I would include American imperialism in that judgment.

achillesheels··on Working at a startup is overrated, both financially and emotionally
How many employees would work for no salary but only equity? Disregard whether they have the material affordances to be able to do so.

Simply put, by necessity the founders have inherited more uncertainty with their life outcome than a salaried worker, regardless of the transience of the work agreement.

achillesheels··on Working at a startup is overrated, both financially and emotionally
Why should leaders and team builders be more “equitable” than what is transactionally afforded by their diligent appreciation of their assets? How is the utility of money not best suited for those who created something from nothing versus those who entered into the tent after it was pitched? Aren’t there gradients of personal ambition being demonstrated between the two parties? If so, wouldn’t society be abler if the leaders were able to do more after having created the opportunity in the first place?

The generosity emerges out of the availability for lending the capital to strangers in society thanks to the successful investment realization.
