Keffals has called for SWATing:
https://web.archive.org/web/20220810180051/https://twitter.c...
Do you really think a KF user would SWAT a GOP Congresswoman in the middle of this fight over their DDoS protection, and the call the cops to identify themselves as a specific Kiwi Farms user (moderator “AltisticRight”), one who denies any involvement in this? To me that sounds highly suspect. We will likely never know the truth.
And here’s a box of the Internet pharmacy hormones Keffals instructs kids to buy and self-dose in secret, without medical evaluation or parental knowledge:

First I’ve heard, and I’ve followed this story closely. Do you have a source?
Sounds about as likely as KF SWATing a Republican Congresswoman and calling the police to say “it was us, Kiwi Farms” in the middle of this conflict over hosting, which is exactly what was claimed in that case.
This is explicitly and exactly what Keffals and co-owner Bobposting do on the DIY HRT Directory. See “Homebrew Sourcing,” first vendor:

Isolated and confused children are sexually lobotomizing themselves to the encouragement of their favorite Twitch streamer. This is without even mentioning the “Catboy Ranch” Discord server, now scrubbed, where a nearly 30-year-old Keffals charged sexually and shared photos privately with minors.
None of this has been include in NBC or anyone else’s reports, except Kiwi Farms and one radical feminist blog. Now that Keffals can illegally DDoS KF, the archive links will be harder to find.
It is also entirely possible that users coordinate harassment out-of-band. I am unable to tell if this is what’s happening.
The point I’ve been trying to make is that KF as a platform at least has strong policies against offline harassment, and Keffals (their current nemesis) has an extensive documented history of child-endangering behavior, such as hooking minors up with life-altering drugs without involving parents or doctors. If KF users were really behind these SWATings in an organized way, I’m not sad to see the site gone. I am however worried that the point about Keffals will be lost, and that this was in some sense the purpose of the exercise. What this person was up to on their drug distribution website and Discord full of sexualized minors is monstrous.
All the data that was dug up on Keffals has been archived. I guess it’s up to real journalists to take that ball from here, if any will.
The ‘body count’ talking point is questionable. The three deaths of which I am aware are people who all had severe preexisting mental health issues and made very bad decisions online (defrauding others, sending death threats, being horrible to other people). Kiwi Farms documented these behaviors, which these people didn’t like. Talking about someone’s bad behavior is not illegal and should not be prohibited. I don’t condone things like mass-flagging someone’s Facebook page or other forms of actual online harassment. Such actions are in any case against Kiwi Farms site rules.
And if this is your standard, what of Twitter? What of Facebook? They have body counts too, much higher than Kiwi Farms’. Former North Carolina professor Mike Adams shot himself after his firing for a racially insensitive tweet, or in the language of KF’s Wikipedia page, “was driven to suicide after endless harassment and trolls’ use of rumors got him fired.” Game developer Alec Holowka committed suicide after accusations of sexism on social media. Academic Peter Newborn took his own life after accusations of anti-Semitism were followed by a Twitter pile-on (Newborn was Jewish). These deaths are tragic but ultimately not Twitter’s fault. Twitter users in these cases likely didn’t even break the Terms of Service, which are far more restrictive on Twitter than on Kiwi Farms’.
Sites like Kiwi Farms and large parts of Twitter are essentially tabloids for niche Internet microcelebrities. Like tabloids, they often seem grossly intrusive into people’s personal lives. They also occasionally do societally-valuable muckraking. Either way they’re not illegal, and the best solution for their targets is to ignore them and not give them any attention. Investigating, documenting, and talking about someone online is not harassment. Actual harassment should be addressed through legal and platform-specific means.
I would also point out that Keffals is actively fundraising off this publicity, to the tune of $100,000 dollars so far. Many other big streamers have been SWATed or harassed. It is a normal part of streaming for many, unfortunately. No other streamers I follow post play-by-play updates of the harassment, as it just feeds the trolls and encourages more. Keffals stands alone in this regard. The moral hazard of the crowdfunding and publicity has me skeptical, especially in light of Keffals’ other activities.
Again, there is no evidence linking Keffal's SWATing to Kiwi Farms. Keffals is a popular streamer with a large audience who also happens to have had a Kiwi Farms thread. I hope they catch whomever made the fake call to police, so we can settle this.
Alright, so you're ignoring the bulk of the evidence. Site works on my machine.
>I have seen some screenshots claiming to show underage people talking sexually in the Catboy Ranch server, and it's been confirmed that those screenshots are not actually from the server.
Says who? By the way, Keffal's hard drive was confiscated in the Canadian police raid. It was immediately after they took this drive that Keffals fled the country.
>Keffals shares information on informed consent clinics and safe sources of HRT supplies. This is not illegal.
They specifically encourage minors to buy blockers, hormones, and needles online with Bitcoin from sketchy labs, and to self-dose behind the backs of their parents and doctors. Keffals' close friend Bobposting, who together with Keffals runs the "DIY HRT directory," has bragged about sending minors controlled substances via the mail; this is expressely illegal. See link in my parent post for details.
>The money is going to be used to sue the police department that swatted her. Suing a police department is very, very expensive.
I look forward to news of this nonexistent lawsuit. The police chief in question has made strong public statements about officers' videotaped conduct.
>Call it a false flag if you like, but I'll trust Occam's Razor on this one.
Occam's Razor means something different for people like Keffals who have a history of lying, theft, manipulation, and doxing and harassment of others.
