This just tries to shift away the blame from our lax measures. We had ample time to react and did pretty poorly to contain it and continue to do so. Were we able to contain the spread of variants?
I want to drive a car without the tyranny of speed limits, I’m not putting anyone in danger except those who choose to be endangered (driving a car, walking a street). I oppose discrimination. I know how to drive a car, where is my driver’s license?
It still doesn't say how much it will be able to carry. They'll sell some for the marketing value, but no company will replace their diesel fleet with it
Varpoware like the Tesla truck, which has a ridiculously low load capacity compared to its diesel counterpart and autopilot that doesn’t even work in an environment that the boring company built (Vegas loop) doesn’t help.
Microsoft is a crucial pillar in the US's political and industrial espionage, they won't let that happen. It wouldn't protect the US from threats, it would protect China.
I’m sure the US is still conducting industrial espionage, it’s less visible than openly stealing but in essence the same. You should expect to get robbed when producing in China or using US software.
I think it does offer editing advantages, though they don’t matter that much unless you work in a sweat shop. For me it’s just fun going like “look mum, no mouse“
Most IDEs have a vim extension that gives you the basic vim editing behavior. It’s great to get into it without having to dive into plugins, buffers, windows etc.
I would argue that highlighting the syntax is tidying up. It doesn’t stop you from keeping the code clean. Shooting yourself in the foot in order to not walk that much isn’t a compelling argument.
Oh come on, you use it as a drug to let the Mac stay awake. Whether or not the guideline makes sense, you are obviously violating it, just change the name.
