Yc4win··on Anti-Piracy Coalition Wants Operators of Pirate Bay, YTS, 1337x, EZTV Uncovered
And I want a billion dollars??

If they are behind a foreign VPN, you cannot unmask them.

Yc4win··on Assange Hearing Day 13
It makes me physically angry that the gov't has the nerve to even suggest that they can remove Assange. These kangaroo circuits need to be vanquished. The world has been shown that the law ONLY applies to the common man, so why should I even hold a notion that a court could possibly be legitimate?
Yc4win··on Assange Hearing Day 13
It makes me so unbelievably sick that the western powers that be are TORTURING a journalist because he exposes their sick crimes.
Yc4win··on 62% Say the Political Climate Prevents Them from Sharing Political Views
You may not want to hear it, but it involves manning the hell up and just whip it out. Your political views. You cannot hide them forever. In real life I have no problem letting people know exactly how I feel. And if you don't know how I feel about something feel free to ask.
Yc4win··on How the US Hacked ISIS
It was just something I remembered that I found interesting when I first learned about it prior to this article.
Yc4win··on Survivor of CIA Torture and Rendition Supports Assange at Extradition Trial
Surely.
Yc4win··on Backdoors and other vulnerabilities in HiSilicon based hardware video encoders
You bring up a point of interest to me about the potential for malicious code that would bruteforce private networks to use as a covert channel. In regards to IoT devices, is there any documented cases of this happening in the wild? I could possibly see actors inserting malicious code baked in that would search for public wifi networks in things like a smart TV.
Yc4win··on How the US Hacked ISIS
Not sure if the article mentions it (haven't read it yet) but JTF-ARES was the force tasked with sabotage and often it was against targets such as the militants video (propaganda) productions.

Edit: Really not sure why I got downvoted, as I provided accurate info?

Yc4win··on Ethnic violence in Ethiopia has been supercharged by hate speech on Facebook
Government cannot put restrictions on natural rights like freedom of speech, so it doesn't really matter what the supreme court may think.

You are free to say what ever you feel like, and if anyone tells you differently say you use a foreign VPN! ;)

Yc4win··on Ethnic violence in Ethiopia has been supercharged by hate speech on Facebook
Ain't that the truth. The government has been shitting on it's citizens for a very long time now with all those treasonous DHS entities.

May the citizens rip apart the federal LE agencies into a thousand pieces and scatter them into the wind.

Yc4win··on At Least 37M People Have Been Displaced by America’s War on Terror
It's such a fake non-issue. It's just to get America involved in the ME on behalf of another country's interests.
Yc4win··on ProtonDrive Security Model
I understand what this site is about so no issue here.
Yc4win··on ProtonDrive Security Model
Thanks, I see another poster found a link to a statement they have on their site about it now it seems.

There is a particular leaks site that also called out Proton for routing their connection thru a similar shady service in the past.

Yc4win··on ProtonDrive Security Model
It's like when they used Radware for _protection_ but I do give them credit for abandoning them after all the public outcry.

I'm very curious op, where/when did you first read about them using Neustar? I didn't know that until I read your comment.

Yc4win··on ProtonDrive Security Model
Anything and everything. I'm serious.
Yc4win··on ProtonDrive Security Model
I would _never_ trust anything *proton. They hide behind Swiss law but will cave to any serious American request for info.
Yc4win··on Reddit app got 50M downloads by making mobile web experience miserable
It's just their official app is _so_ bad one is either required to use the web interface (which nags you to download their app) or download a 3rd party (cr)app just to read the damn thing.
Yc4win··on Ninth Circuit rules NSA's bulk collection of Americans' call records was illegal
The government commits so many felonies and break so many laws daily that laws are really just for us peasants these days.
Yc4win··on [dead]
So, if I am reading this correctly, the cops are complaining that citizens are recording them with home cameras and expect to be able to go into a person's home with no accountability.
Yc4win··on Drug cartel assassinates its enemies with bomb-toting drones
Has there been any progress with coming up with a system that can _reliably_ jam them?
Yc4win··on Drug cartel assassinates its enemies with bomb-toting drones
Drone swarms will definitely be a go-to standard in warfare soon. It has already been in use for a few years over in the ME.
Yc4win··on Clearview AI CEO: ‘over 2,400 police agencies’ are using its facial recognition
The best protection we have for this blatant invasion of our privacy (and dignity) is CV Dazzle camo.
Yc4win··on Bridgefy, the messenger promoted for mass protests, is a privacy disaster
Sadly this is the case more often than not these days.
Yc4win··on US Border Patrol says they can create central repository of traveler emails
The ACLU is a complete joke to most people and the least thing from moderate possible. They also can't stand normal people having guns.
Yc4win··on Police Want Your Smart Speaker–Here's Why
Solution: Make your own "smart" electronics if you desperately feel the need for a light bulb that can talk to your toaster...

Related, I see the user redis_mlc posted a very insightful comment about how the American court system fucks over the defendant for the government every time, and it's "dead" for some reason. I suggest everyone turn on show dead comments because usually they are the most helpful the majority of the time. When information is being suppressed you know it's good.

Yc4win··on US Border Patrol says they can create central repository of traveler emails
I know they market this product for security researchers, and I've read all sorts of good reviews about the "anonymous" version. May everyone expand on this concept:

Yc4win··on Top colleges should select randomly from a pool of ‘good enough’ (2005)
Colleges are in for an extremely rude awakening. No more int'l student tuition coupled with the fact that most people don't need college anymore when you can learn better than some two-bit "professor" could teach you with just a set of instructional videos. Add in a take home exam and now you are running your own ivy league education for free.
Yc4win··on Ketamine that's injected during arrests draws new scrutiny
To use a powerful animal tranquilizer on a human being just to make some cops' job "easier" is about the most abhorrent, sickly thing I have heard in years. I don't want to read any more of this.

To think of all the complications in a person's body from experiencing a drug that puts your conscience in a literally black hole (K-hole) is just sick. It's wrong.

Yc4win··on Degoogle: Cutting Google out of your life
If anyone is struggling to replace specifically Google's search, may you check out SearX. It's FOSS, ability to self-host, no-logs, and does a wonderful job if you have set it up correctly.

A working instance to test before hosting your own: https://searx.info

Let me know how you liked it.

Yc4win··on Anti-piracy outfit hires VPN expert to help track down The Pirate Bay
Helpful tip to anyone not able to access TPB over the clearnet due to any number of issues is they host an official tor onion:

http://piratebayztemzmv.onion

Edit: Just want to reiterate. This is an actual official tor onion mirror. TPB has had problems with an assortment of proxies over the years doing nefarious things, such as while hosting a copy of TPB, the malicious proxy would inject JS/start crypto-mining in your browsers background. The link I included is from TPB official site and doesn't have said issues.
