Velocifyer··on When did Google get so weird?
When searching "blog-ifyer velocifyer" on Google (as an attempt to go to https://blog.velocifyer.com ), I don't get my blog at all, but I do get Ai saying

> # The Velocifyer Effect: How to Accelerate Your Growth in 2026

> We all know the feeling of being stuck in second gear. You have the ideas, you have the tools, but your momentum is lagging. Enter the concept of the Velocifyer—the ultimate catalyst designed to supercharge your workflow, business, or personal habits and turn slow progress into high-velocity success.

despite "A velocifyer" not even being a thing.

I have tried in Google Search Console to get the site indexed, but it hasen't been working.

Searching for "blog-ifyer velocifyer" on DuckDuckGo shows my blog as the very first result, along with some other things related to me, Velocifyer.

Velocifyer··on F-Droid 2.0
Except the 2.0 does have a most popular apps section.
Velocifyer··on Radicle: Disclosure of Vulnerability in the Network Protocol
My main wish is if radicle had a way to make issues online, without installing the software. Runing a piece of software is a high barrier of entry to make a bug report, which the entire reason I use codeberg instead.
Velocifyer··on I don't like passkeys
What is the point? As long as you (the service) hash passwords securely, and the users use random passwords with a password manager, you are fine. A password is far easier to type onto another computer or a diffrent web browser.
Velocifyer··on I don't like passkeys
Can't you just share the TOTP secret key?
Velocifyer··on I don't like passkeys
I belive that passwords with TOTP are far better than passkeys.
Velocifyer··on Android 17 is the first since 3.x to add new APIs without releasing to the AOSP
This is confirming my belies that Google is trying to block OEMs that don't pay them to be part of GMS, with the goal of eventually being the only android phone maker.
Velocifyer··on Apple Reference Image: A New Approach for Verified Photography
This will create a social problem of people discrediting images by a niche camera vendor or by a bootloader unlocked phone or from budget cameras or or from niche camera manufactuers from film cameras or from cameras that are old, while still allowing for advanced telecine attacks.
Velocifyer··on Creepy Crawlies
I would add cloudflare, but set it to cache only mode *without* the bot blocking features.
Velocifyer··on SQLite as a Document Database (2020)
Please remove everything starting from `is` or `si` from youtube links. The stuff after it is just for tracking.
Velocifyer··on Creepy Crawlies
But why don't they just git clone?
Velocifyer··on GUIs should be fully keyboard-driven
What are the advantage of “scroll to content/top” buttons over <main> for screen readers? I think that the use of those buttons is for when the CSS fails to load.
Velocifyer··on Don't Wordle
Why is the word “satan” not allowed?
Velocifyer··on Fairphone is now officially available in the United States
The SDXC spec does not allow for cards bigger than 2TiB, because of address sizes. You need SDUC for above 4TB.

This doesn't account for vehicle size (important for red shell wall breaking[0]) and drifting style[1].

[0] A redshell wall break is when you point your vehicle near a wall to break a redshell without using a defense item. [1] Drifting style is either inward or outward. Inward drift has more intuitive controlls and is way better for intermidiate players, but pro players dislike it because is removes various difficult tricks.

I recommend yoshi on the yoshi bike with azure rollers and the paper glider.

Velocifyer··on Prevent cognitive debt by manually retyping LLM-generated code
I simply never ask LLMs questions specific to my codebase (except for finding what function/file does something, because that is annoying), and instead use generic questions.
Velocifyer··on Stop Killing the Internet: No Digital ID and No Age Verification
I suggest that you don't make the filters to hard to bypass (I would do DNS in both a DNS server and /etc/hosts, along with a browser extension), to encourage them to learn about technology. (although that might stop working due to Ai chatbots)
Velocifyer··on The iPhone Upgrade Program is being replaced by Apple Upgrade
Metro By T-Mobile works well, if you navigate through the website to find the $25/month ($30 without autopay or for the first month) postpaid unlimited plan. It is a T-Moblie MVNO.

It is hard to get eSIM to work, but they have good customer service (but you need accses to a phone to call them, so you should try something like textnow or Google Voice) which helped my friend set it up.

It is not a intruductory offers, AFIK.

Velocifyer··on Self-host your mail server
I was going to self host my email server, but somehow my email provider (Migadu) is cheaper than a VPS ($19 USD per year) and offers custom domains, catch-all, and unlimited addresses.
Velocifyer··on Minecraft: Java Edition now uses SDL3
I assume you mean bedrock edition, but you did not specify.
Velocifyer··on Minecraft: Java Edition now uses SDL3
Do not set the heap size to more than 8GiB, even if using heavy modpacks. Anything above 8GiB actually makes the game run worse, unless you have tons of players, because of GC lag.
Velocifyer··on Minecraft: Java Edition now uses SDL3
Go to https://minecraft.wiki/w/Tutorial:Setting_up_a_Java_Edition_... for how to create a vanilla server for Minecraft Java edition (which is the best version, but is only on Windows and MacOS and Linux, unlike the significantly inferrior bedrock edition, which is way buggier but is avalible elsewhere).

If you need more performance, install [fabric](https://fabricmc.net/) and then install [lithium](https://modrinth.com/mod/lithium), but do not use mods like paper or spigot or purpur as they will mess up farms.

Velocifyer··on CoMaps – FOSS Offline Maps
I have been suspicious that streetcomplete is funded by intelligence agencies who want to increase the amount of OSINT avalible.
Velocifyer··on Google Books (or similar) all book scans – $200k bounty (2025)
Importantly, this would work way better on a speedcube than the rubick's brand cubes. Never use the rubick's brand rubicks cubes. I use the Moyu RS3m V5 maglev, and I think that it would work well for hiding uSD cards.
Velocifyer··on Usbliter8: an A12/A13 SecureROM Exploit
A DRM scheme that often failed to work and had a limit to the amount of installs.
Velocifyer··on FUTO Swipe – A new swipe typing model
I have been wanting this for a while. I currently use dvorak with the split mode that happens when the phone is horizontal for good typing speed.

> "requires developers to submit ID to publish an app on the appstore (at least I had to after ~1000 downloads to be able to publish an update)"

What is the purpose of that?

Velocifyer··on Consensus Time
This is a good idea!
