Also in the retro computer demo scene is dithering very important. I've seen some outrageously great dithering on C64 demo art.

I had lots of cavities despite impeccable tooth hygiene. Turned out I had an evil roided up tooth munching bacterial culture in my mouth. It was cured with chlorine treatment. One damn month where EVERYTHING tasted like swimming pool. After that I've had no cavities.

I use SVG Gobbler almost daily. The most common usage for me, a graphic designer, is when a company calls up and wants a design but the guy from the compnay does no have a vectorized version of their logo. I know, it sounds awfully incompetent but most people do not care about the logotype of the company they work for. So, very often, I just use SVG gobble to download an SVG version of their logo and makes designs they've ordered for them. There are a thousand legal uses for Gobbler. Also, downloading any logo is legal. It is publishing them that might get you in trouble.

Perhaps there's a way to do advertising the old school way. Contact a company directly and make the ad yourself. No need for a warped AI middleman.

Tragicomic is used often in Swedish (Tragikomiskt). There is a nuance difference between tragicomic and bittersweet. Bittersweet is when you daughter moves out to her own place,it's sad that your kid grew up but also great, it's bittersweet but not tragicomic. Tragicomic is when something is so screwed up that the only thing you can do is laugh at it.

My wife had one around 2004, best screen I had ever seen. We were able to get it to run Ubuntu.
