I wish they won't use .avif file extension. It becomes .avi on old systems with 3 letter extensions! AV1 already looks like AVI. avif will be even more confusing.
What about other bicycles and escooters? They don't make any noises. I think quiet noise from cars is ok, but maybe bicycles and e-scooters (and anything on wheels) should also make some noise.
Why are Westeners always criticizing other cou tries? I think its great that there are different competing systems. The best ones evolve. It's not a good idea to have all eggs in one basket. It would be sad if all countries were like USA.
W3C failed to create an open platform. Browser vendors use W3C as a rubberstamp for their implementations. There's many W3C Notes and Editor Drafts with only one vendor. Just look at the latest Google firehose of new features.
