TeHCrAzY··on Poll: Semicolons in JavaScript
You were down-voted because of your tone, which came across as very rude; certainly an undesirable characteristic of posters.
TeHCrAzY··on Ask HN: Food hacks for eating well?
I have to second the drinking water rather than anything else point. Thats one of the easiest changes (so easy in fact, that its the only one I currently can stick to) to achieve, and you will feel fantastic for it (give it a few weeks for the caffeine fuzziness to fade).
TeHCrAzY··on Ask HN: Does reading HN ever make you feel like shit?
I had this problem. I solved it by upping the threshold at which an article hits my "To Read" list.
TeHCrAzY··on Amazon sold 143 Kindle books for every 100 hardcover books last quarter
Good point. My mind skimmed the hardcover element completely. Do you pay more for postage when purchasing a hardcover book?
TeHCrAzY··on Ask HN: Should I learn C?
ISBN for anyone interested: 978-0130340740
TeHCrAzY··on Reddit reveals their traffic numbers, compares to Alexa/Compete etc
Just checked: adblock + easylist = no ads on reddit.
TeHCrAzY··on Switching to Android
I have huge difficulties with the voice recognition; it really doesn't handle anything other than an american accent particularly well (I'm Australian).
TeHCrAzY··on Gruber's source: Microsoft only sold 503 Kins.
Good pickup.
TeHCrAzY··on C# 4.0: The industrial response to Lisp?
I also highly suggest supporting the developer of LINQPad by purchasing the auto completion (once you have evaluated the program). Its quite cheap for a licence, and makes the app twice as useful.
TeHCrAzY··on .NET Culture Shock: Why .NET Adoption Lags Among Startups
Fyi, visual studio is extremly customisable. See: resharper.
TeHCrAzY··on .NET Culture Shock: Why .NET Adoption Lags Among Startups
My real world experience with this is entirely different. Most .net devs are doing what they do because they have the best job prospects in that slice of the industry, especially in light of the overall skillset for the average .net coder is 90% .net, and 10% in the other languages learnt during thier degree.

I personally enjoy working in .net; the entire development process is very smooth and intergrated.

TeHCrAzY··on South Korea ends Microsoft's online shopping monopoly
I find it amusing that "Active X" is referred to as a data-encryption framework
TeHCrAzY··on Flash Ported to iPad
How does one come about to finding the mobile Kongregate? I use your site quite regularly, and never even considered that there would be a mobile site available.

(Off Topic: Love the highest rated comments system, and your website in general.)

TeHCrAzY··on Youtube comments susceptible to XSS
Don't waste your time linking directly to 4chan posts, especially on high traffic boards like /b/. It only keeps a certain number of threads up at one time, ones that stop being replied to will scroll off the end of the queue and be nuked.
TeHCrAzY··on Two Weeks Vacation is only a Recommendation, not a Rule
This happened to me. I promptly informed them that they hadn't hired me as a contractor, hand't been paying me the rates I demand as a contractor, and bid them farewell.
TeHCrAzY··on Kindle now available on woot.com for $149.99
Amazon bought woot! http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1476029
TeHCrAzY··on Finland makes broadband a 'legal right'
That must really depend on where you live. I don't own a road registered car, and feel no ill effects because of it.
TeHCrAzY··on GitHub adds Organizations
Interesting! I guess the motivation to test comes from seeing what advantages you can wring out of upcoming changes, and/or ensuring opponents don't receive advantages over you.
TeHCrAzY··on GitHub adds Organizations
I would gather that there are a huge number of Testers as well?
TeHCrAzY··on Windows 8 Plans Leaked: Numerous Details Revealed
It looks like this slide isn't intended for internal Microsoft use, so likely they are trying to get across the intentions/direction of focus to the audience.
TeHCrAzY··on Store.js - cross browser local storage without using cookies or flash
I don't think many people would be willing to invest $6,000 USD (minimum!) to test old versions of IE.
TeHCrAzY··on JSON Schema - the next standard for defining schemas.
Please don't let JSON go the way of XML, with namespaces and complexity.
TeHCrAzY··on Is it Now Acceptable to Require JavaScript?
Use jQuery or another framework. The only issues with JavaScript in IE6 is interacting with the DOM. The actual JavaScript implementation is fine.
TeHCrAzY··on Internet Explorer 9 destroys Chrome 6 in HTML5 speed test (video)
Chrome is currently the fastest at this; what else would you have them test against?
TeHCrAzY··on iPhone OS updated
I hate how the page scrolls me down to the "sponsored links" section upon loading.
TeHCrAzY··on [dead]
If you have been here longer and have more karma, you would also know that you should explain why you are right, not simply arguing that your "numbers" are bigger.
TeHCrAzY··on Ask HN: How/Where to take a month off
There is a requirement for decent broadband, so that rules Australia, and our friendly neighbors :/
TeHCrAzY··on Ask PG: Something wrong with HN?
The punishment is the removal of your voice from the conversation. Everyone wants to be heard :)
TeHCrAzY··on Ask HN: I'm 20 and I need advice.
Have to agree here. A small place in the inner west will set you back 900k+.
TeHCrAzY··on Scala is not a better Java
You are missing my point: that the language isn't the key part here, its the programmer. If a programmer doesn't adhere to some sane formating and code structure, it won't matter what language they write in, the result will be spaghetti.
