I Europe we can choose between Casio, HP and TI. Problem is: Calculators are build for schools, not for using them in real life. Real Calculator: enter Number -> Press sqrt -> read result. Modern gameboy calculator: enter sqrt use cursor to go to number field -> enter number -> press equal -> read result. May be nice to learn how schoolbooks are written, but very inconvinient if you have to use the calculator for real
For me everything more than c with classes is too much cognitive load. Templates my by ok for implementing Generics but most of the other changes this comitee has produces are complete waste of brain i think
I remember an other 1 tier language ms once had. Anyone remember Visual-J?
On the other hand if we could code in rust and get windows.forms as a ui it might make sense. MS is burning UI layer faster than one can train on
Go has the same illness like rust. First var name then type. We had that back in basic and i hate it. Some argument it would be better if you declare more than one var in the same line. I never di that. Why cant we have nice things.
My Company developed a MCP ti control our product we ship to Customers. So we use it inhouse for testing. It was so convenient that multiple Software developer adopted the mcp tosetup there test environents
For me c is a common ground any feature can be build of. It is very easy to read without much knowledge and has a big base of knowledge around for decades. Anything better than c was in my opinion a WOMBAT. Waste of money brain and Time
TUI is a kind of self defense. big corps create and kill gui frameworks faster that one can learn them. Browser based ui is a real waste of resources (and also evolve in a absurd pace). The Console is a last resort to write small (understandable) gui that work on many platforms.
I never would have thought that a irs software would be called direct fire. What about indirect fire? I think of direct and indirect fire in context of artillery
Lol i expected a text about protecting relays from mechanical or electric problems. You know those real mechanical relays we used to build computers of some years ago
