SuperChihuahua··on Hacker fuel: lifeguard's red beans & rice/potato/noodle recipe

Elon Musk used to eat sausages with bread - not buns (bread is cheaper) - and one orange to not die from lack of vitamins - and he did fine in the end! Maybe someone should do a proper investigation on what successful hackers used to eat?

SuperChihuahua··on How to build an Antifragile career and why we need a national entrepreneur day

"Most of you will fail, disrespected, impoverished, but we are grateful for the risks you are taking and the sacrifices you are making for the sake of the economic growth of the planet and pulling others out of poverty. You are the source of our antifragility. Our nation thanks you.”

SuperChihuahua··on South Pacific Sandy Island 'proven not to exist'

1. Elon Musk launches rockets from the area and talks about the mysterious Hyperloop

2. Islands begin to disappear

Conclusions?

SuperChihuahua··on Why tiny Stockholm has the most stunning startup ecosystem since Tel Aviv

Conclusion: productivity++

SuperChihuahua··on Musk's Hyperloop

Not if you attach a "grasshopper" to the projectile :)

SuperChihuahua··on Musk's Hyperloop

I believe that the Hyperloop is some sort of cannon. He has earlier revealed that it won't need a tube or tracks

Edit: Source to the no-tube from Elons twitter: "Will publish something on the Hyperloop in about four weeks. Will forgo patents on the idea and just open source it. Not a vac tunnel btw."

Don't forget Elon Musk!

SuperChihuahua··on The Harder You Work, The More Likely You Will End Up Being Fired

That happened to me once too. It was a low-paying summer-job I had while I was in school, but I still felt like sh*t after it had happened since it's never fun to waste your time! #lifeshardlessons

SuperChihuahua··on Ask HN: Why TechCrunch posts often do not make it to the front page of HN?

Because TC is an "authority" on the subject and people like that. Let's say that I had submitted a post about black swans at the same time as that post from PG was submitted, then there's a higher probability that the post from PG would reach the front page because PG is an authority

SuperChihuahua··on HN vs Reddit: 50 vs 15000 visitors. Shall HN add new channels?

It was the opposite for me: 8000 from HN, 0 from Reddit

SuperChihuahua··on Ask HN: What are you working on (elevator pitch)?

I'm working on Trejdify - like HN but business news only http://www.trejdify.com/

SuperChihuahua··on Ask HN: How to make sales to companies?

I think one book you might want to read is: "Selling in a new marketspace: Getting Customers to Buy Your Innovative and Disruptive Products"

http://www.amazon.com/Selling-New-Market-Space-Innovative/dp...

One other book that is considered a classic is "Crossing the chasm"

SuperChihuahua··on Ask HN: Share Your Pain

My current pain is the amount of different algorithms within the field machine learning.

And Ive also collected 20000 pains before from twitter, or needs actually: http://www.ideaoverload.com/Find-ideas/New-ideas/Methods-gen...

Probably going to find a ml algo to sort them a little bit better

SuperChihuahua··on JPMorgan Trading Loss May Reach $9 Billion

Maybe we have a new record? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_trading_losses

Last one was 9 billion by Morgan Stanley in 2008

SuperChihuahua··on A day in the life of a startup founder

"0930 Shower and then spiritual time. I have a small shrine set up that allows me to focus on the important. I light an incense and gaze up at posters of Tim Ferriss, Kevin Rose and Warren Buffet." That's me! I always begin the day with looking at some stocks and the twitter steams from tim ferriss and kevin rose :)

SuperChihuahua··on Ask HN: Should I and how to start meditating?

+1 for the miracle of mindfulness by Thich Nhat Hanh. Ive tried to read a couple of other books about Zen and meditation - but I think that book was the best. Ive written a short summary about it here including a video from a meditation session at Google: http://blog.habrador.com/2012/06/whats-up-with-zen-part-2-th...

SuperChihuahua··on Ask HN: How do I find a project to work on?

SuperChihuahua··on Why Your Links Should Never Say “Click Here”

Ive begun writing "Press here" and not "click here" since you cant really click with the ipad/iphone - lets see how that turns out

SuperChihuahua··on Where has all the money in the world gone?

But the problem is that we have postponed the crisis by increasing the debt

SuperChihuahua··on Where has all the money in the world gone?

But you need currency to buy oil. And the result is an "artificial" stronger dollar and a weaker euro - a different exchange rate - compared with if you could purchase oil in euro
