Sujan··on A README maturity model
Which doesn't reduce the usefulness of the linked document at all.

If your project is bigger, README probably should not be a full documentation of the project but link to the actual documentation.

Sujan··on A README maturity model
I like how the project name is formatted as code.

It's missing a TOC though, scrolling through it doesn't give an overview what it contains.

Sujan··on Every Google Cloud Platform product described in 4 words or less
Don't count the "and" and you hit the target of 4 (if you accept that ML is one word).
Sujan··on Useless design features in modern products
Yep, depending on how tight/loose the pants fit, you can also put a key in there. Won't fall out as easily as from the normal pocket.
Sujan··on A README maturity model
> A line about the average response time to issues and/or pull requests.

Does someone know any projects that have this?

Sujan··on A README maturity model
Nice project.

Shame that the history of the maturity model looks like this: https://github.com/LappleApple/feedmereadmes/commits/master/... Even when editing in the web UI you can - and should - set a commit message so one can actually understand how a document evolved without going through the diffs.

Sujan··on Googler proves any iPhone app with camera permission can spy on you
It adds nothing to the title.

Mentioning in the article content that Felix works at Google would be enough. He didn't release that information as a Google engineer, but a private person.

This just feels like they want to play the Google vs. Apple angle, don't you think?

Sujan··on Googler proves any iPhone app with camera permission can spy on you
Why "Googler" in the post title? Post on a private blog, code posted on a private Github account...
Sujan··on Seeing Earth from outer space
Does scrolling back up to see something from before work for anyone reliably? For me it always skips things, so if I scrolled over something (which happens quite quickly while reading as there only seems to be a very small "sweet spot") I can't really go back to it...

Isn't DOI a legal requirement in many countries?
Sujan··on Clarifying Recent Tests
Just ask in the right way:

- "Do you want to see more interesting content on Facebook?"

- "Do you want a way to discover more relevant pages?"

Sujan··on Yosemite bolt replacement and Death Block removal (2012)
Meh Photobucket.
Sujan··on Maryellis Bunn and the Museum of Ice Cream
A few weeks ago a similar place opened here in Berlin: A former hipster shoe store was converted to an "Oreo popup" for a weekend.

https://mitvergnuegen.com/2017/oreo-eroeffnet-seien-ersten-p...

It was mostly empty besides some installations, art, drawings on the walls and a oreo packaging filled tunnel that lead to ball pool with white balls. Of course you could also get free Oreo cookies and take lots of photos with the different "installations" placed around the room like a giant Oreo cookie or glas vases filled with Oreos.

It was packed all day. As some people started absuing the free Oreos (go in, get cookies, come out, dump in bag, go in ...) they had to add security at the door.

Sujan··on Ad Industry Insiders connected to fraud scheme, researchers say stole millions
Reading the original research, the term "bot" is never used. http://blog.pixalate.com/momtaxi-session-hijacking-auto-refr...

But it also doesn't explain where the traffic that is used to do the fraud actually comes from.

(And the term "session hijacking" is definitely abused for something that it doesn't normally mean.)

Sujan··on Ad Industry Insiders connected to fraud scheme, researchers say stole millions
So is this actually bot traffic of nun human machines or real human traffic that is bought and then just moved over all these page creating video and ad impressions without any actual interaction and clicks?
Sujan··on Ad Industry Insiders connected to fraud scheme, researchers say stole millions
Sorry for the messed up title, the original was too long and even more sensationalized. I tried to make it shorter and a bit less clickbaity.

Oh.

"the body of knowledge in those tomes" threw me off - quite the opposite of Rework.

Sujan··on We are doing it wrong – the truth about agile development
What is this "Rework" book he refers to? I can only find the book of the same name of Jason Fried and DHH on Amazon...

The "Define maximum cycle times" paragraph is absolute gold. I wish more companies would do that.
Sujan··on Announcing Microsoft Edge for iOS and Android, Microsoft Launcher
Shame.

Then maybe Microsoft could create a share extension that uses this new Windows feature to "collect" URLs from an iPhone?

Sujan··on Announcing Microsoft Edge for iOS and Android, Microsoft Launcher
Can Edge for iOS be selected as "default browser" in iOS so it is by default used in all the places Safari normally handles? The "send to PC" thing _is_ nice, but only if available everywhere and consistently.
