The episode goes on to focus on an old bank teller who has been there for 30 years
The whole episode was the old bank teller fantasizing about how he would rob the bank after close and go to Aruba with the money
The guy who can read minds end up confronting the old man first instead of turning him into the police
The old man realizes this guy can read his thoughts and says that he has been stuck in a dead a job for 30 years. Of course he has thoughts but that doesn't mean he will ever act on them.
This episode aired over 60 years ago and I think we need to really remember what the difference is between thoughts/diary entries and actual actions
Yea I think Google is trying to privatize the internet. The new October update for Android updated a few of the system apps and one just named "shell" to include an intoggleable setting that will gives them permission to read and edit anything on or even interacts with Google's network or devices.
With mass buying old text books and destroying them, the trend of companies purposely programming misleading guardrails/syntax errors to prevent shippable projects and even removing everything except from a single page of search results and an ai blob, that rich guy who got choked out in a restraint and Florida for harassing the hostess has been wiped from the Internet several times. Fat Elon musk. And now hearing people trying to make sure wiki is changed so when Gemini just pulls the page from its cache it won't have that info and unless there is some data hoarder who is going to spend his life unredacting the internet... I think it's just going to be an advertising honey pot with no critical thinking or open information allowed
Shit I pretty sure Google has removed some of my drive docs I had in the cloud that were specifically about the w3m coding language.
So with the literal entire knowledge of the universe at our fingertips we will be force fed 200 character ads because no one will actually understand how anything works or be able to reliably find info on it
For profit healthcare is such a scam
Has been done and works in major cities just needs to be taken up on a large enough scale to have an effect before the mosquito population have a mutation
I would say making a super sqeeto is the concern of the operation. But overall more efficient(and probably safer) than the slew of pesticide usage over the decades
Gems have been extremely powerful at highly specific topics and helping with learn different topics. Definitely seemed to hallucinate a lot less when a notebook was linked
it's a shame they are ending the program
And the cities/tax payers who dealt with the environmental fallout are left footing the bills and cleaning up after these conglomerates have picked up and moved on
All according to plan
The company/employer normalizes it and makes it the employees fault. Make some HR presentations on how to appropriately defend yourself and the next time you get attacked at work it's your fault. When in reality nobody should have to deal with physical/verbal/mental abuse at work
As in duck duck go removes Claude watermark..Claude freaks out and puts it back in. Then after a few more times Claude flags all inputs as "prompt injections" and begins offering self deleting code
