I remember when Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize based on the promise of him bring peace rather an actual accomplishment. It makes it almost laughable that his government has caused so much distrust amongst other nations.

Fun fact: Ecuador is one of the few Latin American countries to use the US dollar as their standard currency.

I wish there was an easier way to browse than just "recently updated" sites. Some sort of search and criteria filter would make it a lot better.

This sort of opinion hinges in the assumption that people are completely independent from whatever environment they've lived in. Is it also absurd for a graduate to be proud of his alma mater or a son to be proud of his parent? Pride from both of these stems from how their influence added to you as a person, not just because you happened to be around them.
