Why is "debt-free" a desirable condition for a nation?
So 51% of corporate profits are reserved for the employee bonus pool? And all employees are eligible for said bonuses?
It's not hard to come up with examples of where this fails. Don't give me aspirational pie in the sky. Give me operational policy.
Do you have some special method of holding back the tides?
I sure as hell do.
Joe Sixpack doesn't give a fuck either way.
Government money creation should be used for actually productive purposes. While avoiding costs represents some kind of return, it's not clear that's the best plan.
Large, generic haulers just don't offer the same kind of customer service.
There are good reasons why budgets should be close to balanced most of the time.
Note that this thinking only applies to nations which are currency users, not currency issuers.
For a nation with it's own fiat currency (currency issuers) government spending creates money, and the role of taxes is not to fund spending. Taxes fulfill other roles, like controlling inflation and expressing social policy.
If you ain't got nothing to say, don't waste my time.

So to reduce inflation, the easiest way to remove money from circulation is to buy Federal government bonds.
The other way to reduce inflation is to create new value among the goods and services offered in the private sector. What new product or service can you create?
I have worked in two different career fields. When I made that switch, getting the professional certifications took me about 3 months, during which time I was not working. Almost nobody asks about the gap, though almost everyone asks about the career switch.
I have a several year period in which I was working only contract employment. There are gaps of up to 5 months between contracts. Most employers ask something about that time, and most are satisfied with the simple explanation that finding a new contract took that much time.
Some employers care more than others. IBM required me to write a letter of explanation for every gap of 3 months or more. Some employers don't even ask.
