I can only hope we find a way to resolve our differences before our cultural cold war becomes a hot one.
This report indicates that of a sample of 400 volunteers that agreed to take an antibody test, 240 tested positive and 160 did not. It also indicates that 1,100 people tested positive for COVID-19 back in April, possibly an update to the first report of 600.
At this point it appears that in this mini-testing lab of an aircraft carrier, about 25% of the crew tested positive for COVID-19 and 60% tested positive for antibodies, which seems to match with the earlier results showing that 60% of the sailors were symptom-free.

At this point, with COVID and the riots, its a matter of life and death.
I think at some point you'll feel the pressure to censor those feeds as a way to limit information about demonstrations that aren't approved by the ruling class.
I've been thinking about upgrading to an ICOM IC-R30, but its expensive and does way more than just police scanning.
My city is on 700MHz P25 which requires a fairly pricey radio, but its been worth every penny over the past week. After listening in last Saturday we cancelled a trip to visit family after hearing about a riot on the local highway.
Make sure to look up the frequency your town uses first before dropping so much coin on a radio. If your local LE is encrypted, you're out of luck. But many aren't.
The most diverse places I've ever been are also the most visibly segregated and racially aware (but not in a good way). Meanwhile, I see the most tolerance for others in homogeneous places.
I wonder if this is borne out in any studies.
We don't need more political parties, we need solutions to manage the incompatibility.
Ok, and one third of the people support those policies and one third doesn't, and both thirds will fight each other tooth-and-nail. What then?
Genuine question since I see this argument online with some regularity. Why don't you think the 2A belongs in a modern world? What does the time frame (modern vs not modern) have to do with human rights?
What happened?
By the same token, having children is essential to maintain the social welfare state, and those that choose to travel or maintain a career instead are currently benefiting from that state while not contributing future workers back to it.
I don't know what the solution is, but short of dismantling the welfare state, there needs to be a concern on the part of today's young people for the perpetuation of the system from which they benefited so greatly.
Can you not imagine a single abusive use of identifiers by the government upon the people?
Earning a living vs being provided one isn't even really the issue.
Even if they had publicly made themselves known, which they should have, you can't seriously argue that what Cuban did wasn't invasive.
It seems lockdowns cannot be implemented successfully no matter what you do. Perhaps a simple public mask requirement would have been better.
I think this would be preferable to the clumsy "whack-a-mole" system we currently use to silence unacceptable ideas.
I believe it is now justified to call for their algorithms to be made public, by legal means if necessary.
Does that include building the wall, privatizing social security, eliminating the income tax, or implementing school choice? When you live in a country where one side just wants to undo the policies of the other, there's a deeper problem.
Naval Ravikant said on Joe Rogan 1309, and I'm paraphrasing, if you want to build a good system, give it to your enemy for 10 years.
We can't build because the idea of "we" needs to be reevaluated.
Blanket condemnation of "astroturfing" and "misinformation" just reinforces the bubble.
