PhilipV··on Opensource: Gibraltar Legal, Regulatory and Compliance Osint Skills File (AI)
Gibraltar is a small jurisdictions with unique legal principles, regulatory and compliance datasources and nuances.

This skills file can be inserted into any model (Claude, GPT, Gemini, Harvey, Legora) to help guardrail and 'ground' AI with relevant principles.

Skills file has user profiles and consolidated publicly available relevant datasources.

Just a lawyer building curiously and I believe that there are opportunities for jurisdictions to be sovereign with their approach and jurisdiction understanding.

PhilipV··on Scraping 241 UK council planning portals – 2.6M decisions so far
I would say that you should consider checking whether the councils and/or these planning portals operate under an Open Government Licence : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Government_Licence . These in theory permit commercial use.

I would also see that there is a strong case to say that it is aggregation. Something that would help is redirecting users to the original source content whenever you are referencing it within your search.

PhilipV··on Spanish legislation as a Git repo
Well done. I believe that Governments should have a Open Licence for copyright purposes like exists in the UK that allows Govt docs to be used for commercial purposes without issue. I would want to propose a step forward there so that the next generation of this open licence actually has a data set approach to making data sets available - possibly at cost. Governments are losing the ability to charge for nominal items in paper as digital is so openly available - they can make a revenue on providing data at large to public so that others can build or simply if not for free.

Well done and great to see items like this and great to see the comments.

PhilipV··on Casplist.eu
CASPList.eu is a free tracker built to monitor and analyse all of the authorised crypto asset services providers in the EU.

As a lawyer of a CASP monitoring the market, I was only able to download and monitor a static CSV published by ESMA every week or so, Europe's crypto asset supervisory authority. I wanted to build an easy dynamic way of viewing, monitoring and analysing authorisation trends and information with a 'data is beautiful' approach.

This tracker allows anyone to view information on any authorised CASP, view CASPs with similar authorisations and analyse using different data points including LEI registers. You can also export data that you have analysed as a CSV.

This is helpful for anyone who is in crypto in Europe, as a user/customer, as a lawyer/compliance team member, as a regulator or even for those in advisory looking to do market research.

Enjoy and please let me know if you want any particular improvements - it is a small project that I've been working on for some time and will look to keep building.

Look forward to hearing from anyone who may find this helpful.
