Even now when you turn off the Solver Menu in settings you have 10 free scrambles within one ad refill (unless you use another premium feature in the meantime)

On second thought: still that between-tiles click is real feedback. Drag outside the cube must rotate the view (with no tile hit I cannot guess which band you meant), but the gaps between tiles should probably just ignore the click instead (That's how the actual app works)

Thank you! And if you ever solve it, I want to hear about it ;)

I did not know Geranium, thank you. Looking at the simulator now. And you are right - it really works on a similar idea. And I see people rate Geranium 10/10 difficulty with Hungarian Rings at 1/10. Now I am curious where mine sits on that scale ;)

The demo is a 60-second teaser, it was never the game. In the app you get a free pool of scrambles, then one rewarded ad refills it. The next update makes it about ten scrambles per ad, and nothing ever interrupts a game. It is a one-man company, the solvers and servers are paid from this.

Fair point, and you are right. The demo starts solved because its only job is to show how one move works: nothing turns here, bands of stickers slide. The goal is the classic one, one color per face. The page does not say that and it should. I will fix the text. If you want to actually try solving in the browser, here is a scrambled state:

Fair point about voice. The stories and opinions here are mine, from my own life. If some sentences come out too smooth, that is the tradeoff of writing in a third language with a helper. I understand the wariness.

Fair guess, but only half right. English is my third language, so AI polishes my grammar. The observations are mine. At 60 I take help with commas wherever I can get it ;)
Pawel_SkimmIQ··on How we used to get jobs: A newspaper classifieds story
Mine is from Poland, early 90s, and even more analog. I worked at a Polish-Italian company. Our accountant used an ERP program, DOS, written in Clipper. There was no internet, so the vendor's consultant had to come to the office in person. The consultant was a young woman. She became my girlfriend and she pulled me into ERP. The girlfriend left. The ERP stayed for over 30 years ;)

The interesting part for me: this held for a year because nobody found the method. Once the method was identified, the rest was mechanical, and an LLM is a perfect executor for the mechanical part. It knows Morse and every language on the list. And it still took twenty rounds of back and forth with the author, mostly about reading the beads from a photo. So execution is basically solved now. Finding the method is still the hard part ;)
