Nypro··on Microsandbox: Virtual Machines that feel and perform like containers
Lol. I should brace for impact.

Networking continues to be a pain but I'm open to suggestions.

No. Not yet. Would be nice to have
Nypro··on Why do Nigerian scammers say they are from Nigeria? (2012) [pdf]
Interestingly, the stereotype, has caused a large dent in the country's reputation (Paypal won't allow Nigerians to recieve funds) and there's a percievable reduction in the number of scammers from Nigeria. I believe many scams that claim to be Nigerian now are only taking advantage of the stereotype. This stereotype has also made getting jobs considerably harder for sincere freelancers like me. And if I happen to find a client, I treat them like gold; I always work beyond expectation in an attempt to prove I'm not a stereotype. It's frustrating though.
Nypro··on WebAssembly consensus and end of Browser Preview
The logo isn't as nice as the most voted one. But I get the philosophy behind it though, probably the biggest reason it was chosen. But my heart still remains with the other logo. It looks so modern and can go with different color palettes.
Nypro··on Google’s not-so-secret new OS
So Google is going with a DartVM on this one. Dart is cool and all, but why DartVM? It's the same restrictive model we have with Android (dalvikVM) where you can only develop with languages that can compile down to Java bytecode. In this case, however, we will be using languages that can transpile to Dart source instead! Why not JavaScript engine? With the current movement with WebAssembly, I see a lot potential use cases. The biggest point being the ability to code in any language that compiles to wasm. The engine could be exposed to communicate with the OS directly or sth. If they are going to consider V8 alongside DartVM, then that would be cool. I truly hope they don't repeat old mistakes.
Nypro··on SEE – A new VISUAL programming language (similar to “C”)
Programming with this will take forever. I think, instead of making the visual cues map to one token at a time, why not make it more high-level. I dont have an idea how that is supposed to look, but it will make it a bit faster if it has visual templates for constructs like if/else, switch/case, for/loop or a function block, where you just go in and add in the comditions and operations. Also, if you can add some kind of zoom out feature that makes some larger details smaller so you can look at the program or a subset of it from a higher vantage point. This has the potential of being really useful. Another thing I can think of in relation to the template stuff is to make the language really expressive and clear, since the user won't be typing most of the boilerplate except for maybe the variable names and operators. One more thing, map keyboard shortcuts to templates. I'm also a language designer by the way. Peace. ;)
