The good an cheap internet is one reason that makes romanians proud. You can get 940 Mbps down, 450 Mbps up for about $9/month (included in the price is also 50 GB cloud storage in their Google Drive type of service) [0]

For internet on your smartphone you have an option of ~ 2$/month for 50 GB, 4G speeds [1] You can check the coverage here [2]

NuDinNouon Manufacturing plant fire threatens worldwide vinyl record supply

usually vinyls are not impacted by the loudness war[0] they are mastered for people who care about audio quality, have good audio equipment and listen to music in a silent environment. music mastered for radio/streaming is for people with earbuds who listen to music in a noisy environment and as a second activity (listening while driving, exercising, working, dancing)

NuDinNouon Tesla Autopilot

I don't know if there is or not something new with that page, but Elon recently tweeted this

"Radar-only braking on HW1 is getting better with every release. We're hoping to do the demo where it brakes for a UFO in the fog soon."

So maybe that has something to do with it.

NuDinNouon The electric car has dropped out of favor in Denmark

Myth: The Tesla uses a lot of graphite in their battery, which contributes to China’s pollution problem.

Actually: The logic here is: “Tesla batteries use graphite; the world’s biggest source of graphite is in China; China has terrible pollution; therefore, Tesla is partially responsible for China’s pollution.” Except when I did some digging, I learned that Tesla uses synthetic graphite made mostly in Japan and Poland, and that the average Model S uses 100kg of it. That 100kg lasts for ten years, so the amount of graphite used to make a Model S is similar to the amount you’d use if you had a few barbecues a year.

Where is that 180% taxation on EVs? In Denmark?

It has 215 miles(346 km) range. For a long distance trip I would plan a 30 min break after every ~ 300 km of driving.

NuDinNouon What I Learned When Facebook Disabled My Account (2012)

I get the idea that you need a more serious back up for your personal stuff. But what's wrong with using FB to share photos with friends? FB takes down your account? No problem, you upload your photos from an external HDD to other sites.

That's not what a back up is. Facebook can be a backup for your photos.
