What are you trying to say?
Gaming companies rendering games you paid for unusable is a real problem, just as much as planned obsolescence occuring in everyday items.
Screaming children? Really? Most gamers are over 18 and there's billions of them.

You can eat very little sugar (as in, voluntarily avoid foods that contain it) and I don't mean "added sugar" foods).
And "sugar is not the problem"? It's a completely meaningless statement without referencing quantities.
The experience is extremely dependent on location, bandwidth, local setup and availability of close services (in my case, the closest DC was <15ms away according to Stadia telemetry).
It's a nice experiment, but I really doubt the level of artistic direction required to meet specific customer requirements will ever be replaced by "AI"
How would I run our SAP ERP apps/databases without "running servers that long"?
If I get cancer, have treatment for it and am now in remission, who would think these doctors 'cured' cancer? Everyone would understand _my specific instance_ of cancer is reduced to being not a concern anymore.
Being in remission just means a greatly reduced or almost inexistent dependency on insulin.
I'm not saying the conclusions of the article are correct either (low sample size, short period of time), but it's a far cry from claiming 'LCHF cures T1D'
Most of them (grains, legumes, fruits and nuts to a certain extent) would fall under high carb when eaten in those quantities
For me (and generally I'd say), low carb is <50g of carbs per day.
Not being able to work and have hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt because of it is a whole other situation

I've see comments on HN by users from incredibly diverse fields, expertise, ages, countries, etc.
If you think a specific comment in this thread reflects your blanket statement then address it directly, but overall it makes me dismiss anything you've written.
And it doesn't contribute much to the discussion
It comes off as judgemental ("you're doing it wrong", "you really need to learn to"), and you're generalizing your own children's behavior as if it applied to every child.
Every child is different, their sleep cycles, reactivity, personalities, etc.
I'm not even going to comment on the 1-2-3-timeout technique apart from saying I think it's disrespectful towards children; it is basically conditioning them to fear certain words you say and to force them to do something. Isolating them when they "misbehave".
You're free to raise your children how you want, but perhaps be mindful of how you.. "give advice"
