NewHighScore··on Swiss sheep to warn shepherds of wolf attacks by SMS
This is great! How long before shepherds start setting up twitter accounts for them?
NewHighScore··on Dartendo lets you play your nintendo games in browser
I haven't. I dont see anything at http://code.google.com/p/super-dartendo/ either?
NewHighScore··on Japan invents invisibility cloak?
Not quite what I was hoping for in invisibility, but augmented reality FTW!
NewHighScore··on Ask HN: Reverse phone lookup API
A quick Google search brings up Whitepages.com http://developer.whitepages.com/docs

You should have better luck asking questions like this at StackOverflow.com http://stackoverflow.com/search?q=%5Bapi%5D+reverse+lookup

NewHighScore··on A minecraft map viewer implemented in pure Javascript and WebGL
OK, I figured it out. It was working but I needed to use the arrow keys and the mouse to move to find the right view. If you are too far away the land disappears.

NewHighScore··on A minecraft map viewer implemented in pure Javascript and WebGL
I'm using Chrome 12.0.742.53 and I have tried this both locally and through a webserver and all I am getting is loading.
NewHighScore··on EF5 Tornado going through Tuscaloosa, Alabama (amateur video)
That was amazing! It looks like youtube is where the real reality tv is.
NewHighScore··on Reel - a jQuery plugin that provides a 360° views
This looks awesome! I hope it works as well on mobile devices as it does in the browser.
NewHighScore··on Show HN: Prompt.im - A simple real-time chat app built in 1 day
I would use this if it didn't have the twitter/fb limitation. I hate being forced to have twitter and facebook to get into other websites. The UI looks excellent though, good work!
NewHighScore··on Show HN: made a html5 game, polished it many many times
I have been looking for a good alternative to impactjs too. The one that I have been playing with is called Easel.js - http://easeljs.com/
NewHighScore··on [dead]
I'm wondering the same thing. It looks like an email harvesting page to me (?)
NewHighScore··on For a good laugh: How can I edit Internet speed?
It appears to have been removed. What did it say?
NewHighScore··on Ask HN: Is the flood of frameworks hurting Javascript development?
It is hard to say. It seems like some of the frameworks, for example jQuery, are making it easier for people to start using javascript, but could also be limiting the extent that they are actually learning javascript.
NewHighScore··on JQuery hack to inline HN comments below your post (like Disqus)
This looks interesting, but it could really use a screen shot to better explain what it is going to do.
NewHighScore··on ASK NH: how to build GUI in python.
Maybe this will help: http://stackoverflow.com/search?q=python+gui

I have heard that this book is good, but I haven't read it yet. http://www.amazon.com/Rapid-GUI-Programming-Python-ebook/dp/...

NewHighScore··on Ask HN: How is grooveshark built?
Great links!! I have my own music app that I'm building for personal use. Here is a jQuery plugin you might want to check out for the player: http://www.jplayer.org/
NewHighScore··on Brand new URL Shortner for your convenience
Great interface! It is very simple.
NewHighScore··on Show HN: Clip War
It looks like the clip should always be random since it will be the last clip that someone chose to post. I don't like it that this site requires you to use a facebook id but, that is probably a good way to control a site like this.
NewHighScore··on Geeks, hackers, nerds, and crackers: on language boundaries
I just kept thinking of this: http://xkcd.com/747/
NewHighScore··on Show HN: The Infinite Maze - collaborative maze drawing
Neat idea! I love how the map is user generated. You should add a point system to it somehow.

Could you point me in the right direction for beginning to create a full screen javascript webapp like that?

NewHighScore··on GameBoy Color Emulator in JavaScript
Wow! That is pretty amazing! It seems to run very well in Chrome except that I don't have the sound working.
NewHighScore··on Ask HN: The Web app that you just write into and register if you want to save?
This was posted in the last week: http://www.quietwrite.com
NewHighScore··on Things I Didn’t Learn in Architecture School
It made me laugh that so many of them point to 49. 57 is good too.
NewHighScore··on Japan's Latest Rock Star Is A 3D Hologram - Draws Huge Crowds
I didn't know it was possible to have video 3d holograms like that! Does anyone know where to find out more about the technology used?
NewHighScore··on Real-time heatmap example with Javascript and HTMLCanvas
This is a really neat idea, but it seems to track how fast the mouse moves over the canvas instead of the amount of time the mouse is over parts of the canvas.
NewHighScore··on Start ups, please don't force me to log in with Facebook
Email is better because you are not locked into using some third party website to log in. You can set up an email server of you own if you wanted to.
NewHighScore··on Ask HN: which ebook reader to buy?
Wow, after seeing this info I would have to go with the one that has the expandable memory slot and allows an open format. I refuse to get locked into buying from one company in a closed format.

So if you buy a kindle ebook on amazon.com can you only read it with a kindle or kindle app? I am really enjoying Calibre on my netbook (calibre-ebook.com)

NewHighScore··on People really don't like unselfish colleagues
Well stated.
NewHighScore··on Wired's bullshit "The web is dead" graph
LOL, Wired likes to predict the future - http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1612808
NewHighScore··on Kiss your browser goodbye (1997)
LOL, Kiss your browser goodbye. When they say "The browser becomes invisible by becoming ubiquitous" I bet they weren't thinking the browser might be the only application on your system.
