NDizzle··on Federal Reserve raises rates by 0.75%
A large fraction? Making $100B the first 100 days of the war, overall, with it slowly decreasing, yet new channels are opening up straight to India and China? People haven't thought this through all the way.

NDizzle··on Federal Reserve raises rates by 0.75%
> does the "putin price hike" talking point really work on anyone?

Unfortunately, yes it does. It works very well for a significant amount of the population. I've found that there is an incredible overlap in the number of people who think Putin is to blame and those still wearing masks in public.

Energy prices which have LATELY, MAYBE, been driven by failed attempt of the US applying sanctions to Russia over the invasion of Ukraine.

I don’t think most people understand the use cases.

NDizzle··on The Collison Brothers Built Stripe into a $95B Unicorn
95B and they still charge me the wrong tax rate on purchases. Note that some zip codes have rural areas that use the county rate. 9.5% vs 7.5% is quite a difference.

Do you have a permit to state your opinion out in the open like this?

Of course America will never get to where the UK is today. We don't want that shit. We want freedom.

NDizzle··on Jack Dorsey says he agrees with reversing Trump's Twitter ban
Insurrection? The most armed civilian segment in the entire world, that didn't bring their guns to this fantastic insurrection event?! The same group who was let into various private chambers, for maximum effect, sometimes walking so close to single file that it would bring a tear to a second grade teachers eye...

If that's your definition of insurrection, there can be infinity more of them on my platform.

NDizzle··on Jack Dorsey says he agrees with reversing Trump's Twitter ban
Correct. I'm glad I reached at least one person before I am downvoted to flagged for pasting twitter's own reasoning. Again.
NDizzle··on Jack Dorsey says he agrees with reversing Trump's Twitter ban
Take a look at the two tweets that twitter used to justify the perma ban of Trump. It's weak, at absolute best.

https://blog.twitter.com/en_us/topics/company/2020/suspensio...

On January 8, 2021, President Donald J. Trump Tweeted:

“The 75,000,000 great American Patriots who voted for me, AMERICA FIRST, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future. They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!”

Shortly thereafter, the President Tweeted:

“To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th.”

Those two tweets are perma-ban worthy? I'm glad nobody has paid attention to what I typed into region chat in MMOs for the past 20 years...

I just changed the daily life of one of my mechanics. They use Napa Parts Trails (or something along those lines) and when he clicked into something, it pops up a tab without any controls and they had no idea how to adjust the text size. Because it removes all the controls. New laptop, super high DPI, super tiny characters in a shop environment.

I taught him the nearly universal ctrl mouse wheel hotkey combo so that he can scale things, and then proceeded to adjust about a half dozen different areas in the various applications he uses for managing jobs and ordering parts.

NDizzle··on Nobody will admit the best novel of our generation is about football
Ahhh Rocket Ismail. Another player who was really, really good in college and ended up in the CFL, not really "sticking" in the NFL.

Edit: watching highlight videos from like 25 years ago.. I had forgotten that he also knelt to pray when he scored, similar to Tebow.

So you haven't cared about free speech at all until you want to lash out to spam others? Cool story, bro... I bet you and your legion of followers will love all your content. Then you'll bitch when people disallow you from commenting on their posts.. But I can't push my speech on others!!! This isn't my definition of free!!!

In regards to the first point, equal pay for equal work, last week I had a place drop the base salary from 260 to 135 because I'm in Arkansas. The whole state apparently has the same cost of living, and it's a fraction of the stated range for NY/CA. Ridiculous.

NDizzle··on The jerrycan design goes back over 80 years (2020)
I use Scepter brand cans - different ones for fuel and water. I had to buy them from a forum member in Canada, through the Land Cruiser forum, as they weren't legal to buy in the US for whatever reason. Kind of odd that I had to go black market for a darn jerry can. I wanted something that wouldn't ever leak or have fumes inside the cabin if I ever had to use them other than mounted on my rear bumper. Really odd considering these are the exact jerry cans that were used in Iraq, and have stood the test of time.

You CAN find the water cans in the US - there's a place in Lexington, KY that sells them.

I'm a fan of #17. Eat them raw.

I'm half the man my dad was. He would pick a red onion and eat it raw as well. Like one would eat an apple. I'm still working on that skill...

NDizzle··on I took down my Starlink dish (but haven't cancelled)
I had no idea they launched a v2. I wonder why they would regress so much. The obvious answer is cost... but they have to know how much people want good internet service in remote areas, right? I'll pay for it and I know I'm not the only one.
