But the winter is coming now, so the extra heat generated when regenerating won't go to waste.
It was designed as a freezer, not a fridge, after all.
The only problem we have is humidity. With everyday use, a lot of condensed water gets stuck inside, the humidity goes near 100 % and the moulds really like that.
We tried many things, including making a drain hole inside, but nothing helped. We "solved" it with putting 1 kg of adsorbent (silica gel) on the bottom. It lasts about two months between regenerations, so it is quite usable this way.
I guess promoting Google search is essential for them to keep building great products. And guard net neutrality. If we don't like it, we are probably not donating enough.
I used it throughout whole Europe, and found it superior to even local apps (map content) and OSMAnd (map rendering).
But of course that doesn't mean you can't use it that way.
My daily driver, Sony Ericsson ELM, rings an alarm each morning I need it, for the last ~9 years. Even when it's off, even if the battery is dead (once had a problem with a charger, couldn't even boot the phone, but it rang each morning for a week).
My iPhone? If it dies, it dies. Not even talking about Android.
And yeah, I try to use GET only for safe requests, but I should be more careful.
I was horrified, glad it isn't live yet, and I fixed it immediately. But I'm still wondering whether I was so sleep-deprived or drunk when I wrote this. It's over SSL, so it should not be that big deal, but still, GET shouldn't be used for such things.
Well - he has no trackpad, actually. The X60s he mentions has only a trackpoint. But even though this trackpoint is wonderful for scrolling, it's not the point - he wants to see the content, not scroll through it.
I get it, when I upgraded from X61s to to a new 12" laptop, I also didn't like the reduced screen height. But these old laptops had low resolution screen, and the extra resolution of FHD screen more than makes up for the smaller vertical physical size. And I can have two documents side-by-side.
Firefox 59: 474 ms
Edge 41: 164 ms
The difference is smaller with newer FF, but that is amazing from Edge!
