You can try this plugin as well https://github.com/marcusolsson/obsidian-projects where it has a "boards" view for the projects you setup, it has a nice approach to project management without manipulating your pure notes to much other than the frontmatter data.

I believe on the website the YouTube video linked is using this library throughout the whole video to give you visual references based on what the person is talking about. It's a pretty good demo..

I don't see it this way; Without curated information we wouldn't have a resource of valuable Q and A's for AI to base itself off of. I'm ignorant on what particular text the model was trained on but I have to assume it had a lot of details from online resources. It knows about coding languages and common problems so it has trained it's information form something. Without stack overflow or some kind of relationship between openAI ChatGPT suggested answers and confirmation that it was valid the information would becomes pointless for future frameworks since everyone would be stuck using ChatGPT for answers and it would have no place to find the answers. Maybe I'm missing something a context of some kind but I don't see it providing valid answers without the wealth knowledge like a place that stackoverflow can provide.

What a naïve and narrow opinion your throwing onto other humans. There are as many reasons for anyone to use electron as there are not to. You may not value the use cases a developer may choose Electron over native solutions.

It's very vary poor outlook on other people to think their lazy and incompetent. I'm sorry you hold these values but please try and get out of that toxic mentality your publicly showcasing here.

I would agree with this statement. You may not see Webpack directly because a lot of modern tooling/libraries/frameworks (whatever we're calling them now) have Webpack hidden away in their dependencies and the end consumer gets a hand full of useful cli commands that run magic.

Photographer, Designer, VFX something along those lines I think.

Technically anyone could use those same open source projects and provide an open source solution, or paid solution as well. I do feel how you feel though it's a little off-putting.

I'm living this now, and it's more than twice as much to build a new house.

Forgive my naivety; What happens when a country wins something like this? What is the money used for? How is it fair that the country gets this capital?

Cheaper employees and to fill in the talent gap. Most local talent is busy and not moving around, the population is not big enough to fill in the hires. We also outsource our devs to other countries (in my experience USA). I assume it's because we're cheaper as well...

Google results for where New Brunswick appeared on Hacker news if your interested:

I live in this area as well; It would be hard to even start such a study and have meaningful results. What if it has to do with a social aspect rather than location? Covid 19 aside; I'm concerned about this mystery disease. Not knowing if we should stop eating foods produced here, or meats, etc. Outside support if available surely would be better than shutting it out?

You may also use any other note taking app as your default brain dump and use Obsidian as your editor tool to work your notes afterwords. Just for note taking anything would work its markdown/text. Where obsidian wins is backlinking information and all the wonderful community plugins that's been appearing.

This is bad math, not researched heavily but in 2020 discord had 300 million users. 285kb goes a long way with wasted energy and bits flowing through the pipes. I agree generally with what your saying though gzipped sizes are what's being sent some CPU usage somewhere to unzip. less bytes == less waste?

Very great presentation for code walkthrough thank you!

I'm curious as to what value would that provide most end users of the content? If you're a photographer perhaps you have software for processing the raw file and you want to see what you can do with a raw file; however I still feel that for most end users this would be useless. I would be one of the few I think that may play around with this.

Thank you for this, it really makes me love the web and the people making things like this, Forked!

What information do you have to backup that opinion?

An interesting reaction to what you're saying here for me is, I feel bad and have this bar while doing but when looking back I always see things in a positive way. I'm not sure where this comes from but trying to keep the Anything worth doing is worth doing badly." while doing a thing seems highly valuable to me. Thank you.

> If you’ve got an older iPhone that’s seeming to slow down, it’s more likely that your device is just aging.

I was under the impression that technology doesn't "just age". The software running and apps being updated for new platforms might make it feel "slower" but in general using the phone itself shouldn't ever feel like it's aging.

I rather this then let those suffering live a poor life. I'll gladly pay my taxes to help those in need.

It only took me a few square clicks before I could understand the interface which is pretty quick with no instructions presented.

The idea of the above example is to show a controlled distribution can be made that would verify all levels of imports if needed, which is very promising.

Well this was enough to give me some perspective. Time to clean up and delete some accounts. Thank you.

I do think that is the kind of purpose for these demo/example sites. They represent a basic concept in a visually pleasing way and allow developers / UI / UX people to take them and integrate them into the brand they are working with. For personal projects it's probably easy enough to just grab and go without thinking about it to much.

I agree with you about CSS and markup, so making something like this a utility class/setup could help it integrate well. It is an open source github repo, fork it apply your ideas and request a pull request.

This has been around for a long while. It's in need of much love from online communities.

It would definitely make for an interesting experience. All the new platforms, even HaloLens if possible to project around you in 3D space could be amazing.

If we didn't have so many rules for things like this, it would be great, but I honestly don't see this moving into Canada quickly at all.

On the East Cost, we have two companies who own towers and sell access to them to other companies like fido, virgin etc. I can't see them selling access to the towers any cheaper...

I'd also like to know more on this.

I'm pretty sure this is made using ImpactJS for anyone that is interested.
