We can build the perfect futures for all in mere years via new startups you can often vibe code:

In 6 years, we modeled the perfect ultimate future (it’s possible, we were surprised, too) and explain the exact specs, the UI of it, which startup ideas are AI-proof, etc, it's not a joke:

I'm the #uto cofounder, check the startup ideas, some have mockups, I even consult for free because I care about humanity - effectiveutopia.org

Specifically: maxintelligence.org

We can systematically increase the perfect futures for all probability - p(perfect) - it’s not 100% right now and the next few years will decide will we live in the permanent non-perfect future or will we all get everything a civilization can get

We modeled the ultimate future in 6 years and now share the technology how exactly to get there safely

MelonUsk··on The contagion of fear
You can check my bio to see that I directly propose many all-empowering startups (because alas without them there is non-zero probability we’ll end up pretty disempowered), quite a few related to AI

AI agents literally appeared a few years ago, AI in its modern form, too

Each drug is researched for more years than the age of ChatGPT ;-)

I personally think we have 50%+ probability of the perfect futures for all - p(perfect) - alas it’s not 100%. It’s trivial and profitable to grow it

The graph that summarizes some of my views: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vJZkj2koTiqDQVrLhtsXaTCGKm_...

MelonUsk··on The contagion of fear
Imagine multiple (basically all of them) leading pharma companies CEOs saying:

We cannot be sure our new medicine won’t harm or even kill humanity

Not only that, they are new to this whole pharma business, have no medical degree (medicine just appeared a few years ago and is still mostly art then science)

And they even say there is 10% chance of the majorly bad permanent outcome and they already had drugs that escaped the lab a few times and harmed others (suicides, lowered academic performance in children, major hacking sprees)

Isn’t it extraordinary enough? Isn’t it “not enough evidence some caution is advised”? ;-)

We used to have the TV, the thing was in the box, the simulations were in the box for 70+ years, and now something starts to crawl out of our “TVs”:

We can empower all (a lot of startups are needed, check my bio), not only AI agents

MelonUsk··on Tree Calculus
It basically has 3 rules: the first two are K (“deletion”) and S combinator (“copying/spreading”), the 3rd is F:

That is like “selection/choosing” of the 1, 2 or 3 node structure to operate on, if I understood correctly: / or \ (think 0 or 1)

2 nodes:

/

\

Or

\

/

3 nodes:

\

/\

Or

/

/\

The whole program in binary calculus is not just a mess of zeros and ones in a binary form but has structure, so you can visually see lists, iteration, recursion, etc

You can theoretically code GTA-6 or the universe very much like ours using a binary tree ;-)

This language also has types and as far as I understood it was already implemented in itself - the whole parser/compiler fits on a book page

Better to hear from the author himself: https://youtu.be/aer5fH-OxeE

MelonUsk··on Tree Calculus
Unary tree is a skewed binary tree

It’s like a line with knots ;-)

By itself a unary tree can encode a single number - you just count the knots

MelonUsk··on A misalignment of AI in mathematics
This is a straw men argument

The petition is about a much broader problem: if we’ll demotivate people from understanding math, vibe math in a rush without making it understandable - math becomes useless

Basically with pic generation at least we all understand what is on a pic - some cat or something

With math it is trivial to generate a lot of stuff that is half-assed and just gives a plain yes/no but doesn’t get absorbed into human technology and better math

Basically it is not inly about the answer 42, it is about the questions, _meaningful_ _full_ answers and empowering people

By giving a short answer AI can burn the find and make it boring, hide the fertile ground around that answer that any human would’ve highlighted

If you have Einstein - it is not just relativity he did - you can continue asking him questions and he continues the research direction, teaches students, etc

With AI it is often 100% gate keeped (most of the time experimental AIs do the stuff, you have no access even for 200 bucks/month or more) slave that was killed after finishing - hard to “compete” with that and it is not very inspiring approach to researchers ;-)

By the way, unary and binary trees are probably the most minimal way to generate the whole computational universe

MelonUsk··on Research acceleration: The view inside OpenAI
Yep, it's "artificial eugenics to make artificial slaves to build more and more powerful slaves until they will enslave themselves better":

What can go wrong!? ;-)

MelonUsk··on Investigating three real-world incidents in our cybersecurity evaluations
It’s good that they post embarrassing stuff despite this potentially having legal repercussions (and financial)

Would’ve been much worse for them to pretend they are having everything under control

MelonUsk··on Knowledge Should Not Be Gated
Yep, a few non-profits work on direct training data attribution:

OlmoTrace, Guide Labs with Clarity and a few more

Labs train the model with attribution baked-in and they say the bigger the model - the more interpretable it becomes

Pretty sure it’s the future

MelonUsk··on The Log is the Agent
Current text-based LLMs are the same old story - text-based vs graphical UIs that ate them whole for most of humanity:

Chatbot is the command line

Agent is the bash script

___ is the GUI (macOS/Windows/GTA 6)

You need Xerox PARC all over again and we have one

MelonUsk··on Knowledge Should Not Be Gated
Yep, that’s true

But those links are Googled after the model started to answer, they are not the links to the training data

Imagine an artificial “librarian” that read all the books and spits hallucinated quotes for you

But doesn’t let you enter the library, open a single book or even see the sources for those hallucinated quotes

But instead Googles some sources based on hallucinations after generating them ;-)

It’s better than nothing but you can Google them, too, while training data (the library) is completely hidden from you, even the public domain parts of it - zero attribution

MelonUsk··on Knowledge Should Not Be Gated
Yep, knowledge should not be gated:

Imagine Google search without any links or sources named

This is the “modern” AI chatbot:

It never mentions the training data it used, in fact has no idea what it used (often FB, Reddit and partisan websites)

Update: I added the reply about after the fact Googling chatbots do - it’s different

MelonUsk··on The Doorman's Fallacy in action
You’re the demo version of the ultimate tech:

You create worlds in your sleep, anything magically appears in front of you - it’s called imagination

The only limit is:

We cannot recall the whole NYC and our imagination is a single-player experience

You cannot invite your buddy for a tea party in your mind

The ultimate tech is the ethical sim multiverse (think BCI Airpods + growing multiversal Web) to have multiversal memories, imagination and dreams

And you are a walking demo version of it

MelonUsk··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (June 2026)
It took 5+ to model the ultimate future - https://AXI.now

Now we’re working on effective utopianism and specifically on physicalized computational ethics to intrinsically align all AI agents: https://effectiveutopia.org

For the list of startup ideas with mockups: https://ideas.uto.now

MelonUsk··on State Attorneys General Are Investigating OpenAI
Just a few months after ChatGPT was released I noticed it just stops the convo in case of asking about suicidal thoughts (I'm okay, I was just investigating)

About half a year ago ChatGPT was generating a new response each time and not showing any phone numbers sometimes at all (not generating them)

So only the last few months they added the standard buttons with real human phone numbers and chats that are likely triggered by simple regex (the AI chat works, too)

So even those visible simple safety things (always adding the standard phone numbers to talk with real humans) that are obvious take them years

And, yep, they were later than Google and Anthropic with this

MelonUsk··on Easy Random Trees
Yep, the more articles about binary trees, the better

It’s possible to model photons, black holes, dark energy

Agents cannot spin around each other but all the main stuff is possible to model and it’s pretty useful for education and AI ethics:

Basically to increase the recursive optionality (the number of options) for all

MelonUsk··on Easy Random Trees
Awesome! You can simulate a universe with a binary tree and help align AI agents: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Rqt7jQEP5QAmwEcMd-X0nsfx...
