You forgot the brackets: ((((())))).
M8··on JSON Support in SQL Server 2016
SQL =>

Step 1: remove data integrity.

Step 2: remove powerful query language.

Step 3: only store strings.

=> No-SQL

It's interesting that the technology is named after a missing feature.

M8··on The Future of Education: Genetic Enhancement and Metahumanities [pdf]

M8··on Once you go functional, you can never go back
"In order to call a language purely functional, it has to have 6 distinct features"

Is there an international standard or a some sort of formal proof?

M8··on Don’t Be So Sure the Economy Will Return to Normal
"Every time you have to wait in a queue, think if that would be there if there were more staff."

M8··on JavaScript at 20
Like a ball of greasy dirt rolling through a jewelry market. Is the end result beautiful or just the individual features?
M8··on JavaScript at 20
I just wish the best language would win, not the accidentally ubiquitous one. And giving a real choice of language would been even better.
M8··on JavaScript at 20
I had same problem on Chrome. Have a lot of extensions, but other websites are fine.
M8··on Ask HN: Java 8 or Scala?
Are you sure you are replying to a correct post? Your statement is correct, but so are my points.
M8··on The Rise of Men Who Don’t Work, and What They Do Instead
Partially related to having a family becoming more risky for men. If you are not protected in case of a separation, you are less likely to want to commit to a family. If there is no family, there is less motivation to earn more.
M8··on Ask HN: Java 8 or Scala?
In .NET as a similar choice, very subjectively, I would pick C# over F#, because:

1) succinct != readable

2) ReSharper and Roslyn IDE support makes a difference

3) there is no work opportunity to learn it

4) learning it in spare time would mean not implementing something else - I would prefer to solve domain problems rather than language AND domain problems

M8··on Microsoft TouchDevelop
I was always thinking it's C# and XAML, but it's actually JS :(.
M8··on Grade Inflation at American Colleges and Universities
Not really, I have nothing against e.g. ancient and modern languages, literature, philosophy, general history, archaeology, general anthropology, law, semiotics and linguistics.
M8··on Node.js and io.js are merging under the Node Foundation
Bashing the Nadella Microsoft is a poor taste.
