Almost a year ago, Reviscio started as nothing more than an idea.

Today, more than 1,000 people use it every month.

The problem was that I've often come across the problem of scattered study workflows. You look through dozens of paid, mediocre apps until you find one decent one for notes. Then you repeat the process for flashcards, to do lists, calendars, quizzes, study plans and whatever else you need.

That’s not really usable, and that’s why we started building Reviscio.

Reviscio brings all of these tools together in one place, including notes, flashcards, quizzes, lessons, videos, exams and study planning.

We’re currently in open beta and would really appreciate any feedback on the product.

We’d also love to hear from people who have experience growing products like this. How would you recommend getting Reviscio in front of more students?

I started writing a 500-page science fiction novel when I was 12. At 14, I finally published it.

I finished the first version in about a year, but even after finishing it, I never felt that it was truly ready. I kept going back to it, making small changes and trying to improve it.

Eventually, I realised that at some point, you have to let a project go.

The book is called The Bond (Side in Finnish). It follows Denma Yvek to the distant planet of Trappist-1e, where reality, time and space begin to distort. The story explores the balance between good and evil, and our responsibility as humans when faced with our own nature.

Looking back, I can't fully express how much this project influenced my life. Writing the book sparked my interest in space, which eventually led me towards the research and projects I work on today.

I'm finally sharing it now, after spending years revising it.

I've put the book and the prologue here: http://lukatakki.com/side

If you happen to read the prologue, I'd genuinely be interested to hear what you think.

Thanks so much for the feedback! What you mentioned is definitely true, and we completely agree. We already have debates inside the app to help users test and challenge their knowledge, but we’re also planning to add new active recall features where you’ll write down everything you remember from the previous day’s learning and even teach the material to someone else. We think this will make learning even more effective.

It's closed source right now while we're rapidly iterating on the beta and working through early feedback. However, we're definitely open to open-sourcing parts of it down the road as the project matures or if you have any questions about it!

We're a team of 15-year-old students who ran into the same frustration every time we sat down to study: having to constantly switch between four different apps just to review for one test. Quizlet, Khan Academy, Notion, and Gizmo are all great, but each only handles one piece of the puzzle. That’s why we created Reviscio—a free, all-in-one study platform that brings notes, flashcards, quizzes, exam prep, personalized practice, and mini-games together into one place. Help us build the "Duolingo of studying"! We're currently in open beta, so we’d love for you to check out the site and leave us your feedback and ideas. Thank you, and may the Force be with you!
