We provide tools for educators to get more actionable data about their students and then facilitate conversations between educators and parents, and it's a pretty great combination. If even a few students end up with a better life because of a teacher being able to reach out more easily, then I'd say that's meaningful.
If that sounds neat, check out https://schoolstatus.com
git log --author="tlbonnette@gmail.com" --since=1.days
You can of course tweak the way that git log outputs too, to make it more readable.
Something like:
git log --pretty=format:%Cred%h%Creset -%C(yellow)%d%Creset %s %Cgreen(%cr) %C(bold blue)<%an>%Creset --abbrev-commit
can make it quite pretty.
Here (https://github.com/Linell/hammerspoon-config) is my configuration, although it's nothing fancy.
This (https://github.com/Linell/hammerspoon-config) is my configuration, which is about as basic as it gets. The documentation has a billion other, cooler things that can be done.
Fixing exceptions as they come in is great if you've got someone on deck specifically for fixing them, but what happens if everyone is already working on something else? Especially if that exception is something that is relatively unimportant? The idea of setting aside time for working on it is much better. I like to do a refactor Friday and work specifically on this type of goal.
While some people go the route of eating oatmeal and tuna every day, there are plenty of routes to financial independence that don't involve living a life devoid of nice things. It's less about never working again and more about having the freedom to choose what you want to do -- whether that's work for yourself without worrying about paying rent or working full time for someone else.
It has a bit more modules and whatnot and emphasizes ease of use more than Mjolnir. It comes pre-packaged so that you don't need to bother with Luarocks and finding each and every package that you want. It is also under active delevopment. .Steven Degutis, the Mjolnir creator and maintainer, has said that he won't be doing anything other than merging necessary pull requests.
So really, for what you're using it for, probably not much. It's almost a matter of preference.
Here's my configuration file.
A man in the audience stood up and started singing, and doing a very good job at it. The band picked up and followed the man singing, going right on through the song. Once his guitar was fixed, BB King came back in and sang backup for the man in the audience. His interaction with the audience for the entire show, and particularly this case, was amazing.
Setting a reasonable pace with the project could be tricky, but I think it would be very beneficial.
Of course, it does mention documents and such as well, but I'm sure there are plenty of uses for "socially" sharing that type of thing too.
