Lambda11··on AI Mania: From Tulips to Tokens
Riot Platforms strikes deal with Anthropic as bitcoin miners shift focus to AI infrastructure https://www.cnbc.com/2026/08/11/riot-platforms-signs-anthrop... "But with the growth of AI, and against the backdrop of a prolonged slump in cryptocurrency prices, most publicly traded bitcoin miners are increasingly valued by investors as owners of digital infrastructure rather than producers of bitcoin, given their power capacity, data center assets and energy contracts."

Lambda11··on Django Migrations – A Primer – from Real Python
the table comparing the old South workflow to the new Django Migrations workflow is great.

one thing - so you just blow away your old migrations? is there a way to save them in case we need to revert? seems like this is a little different than it was w/ south.

Lambda11··on Whatsapp seen by a trader mindset
I really liked your article! Especially the first paragraph. In the "The Trader (Pricing) View" section, I was disappointed that you continued referring to value, especially with respect to a fickle measure such as number of users.

"The key variable in explaining differences in value across companies is the number of users."

Your conclusion was very rational, and I agree that fundamentals will matter (sooner or later), but I wish you had taken a stance instead of being so balanced. Very un-trader like of you :)
