I wonder how they're going to have to work with things like the Australian/NZ censorship which I believe is based on DNS?
Do you know if there is a forum for Z80 homebrew systems?
Even on the NES the PPU RAM is on a separate bus
6502's are fun to play with and relatively easy to put together a system with one.
There's still quite a community of us building new systems with the 6502 on the 6502.org forums if anyone is looking for more info re: programming/hardware, hints and tips etc

Presumably their "bank cards" only use some local payment scheme rather than visa or MasterCard (explaining why it can't be used online)
The newer "debit card" uses Visa or MasterCard which means it is accepted anywhere Visa/MasterCard is
I don't think the particular shift registers etc are still available but it is still possible to do it with discrete logic these days
I guess different projects have different focus and some probably don't care too much how they get video as long as it works. I've built discrete and CPLD based video circuits for my own 6502 project which is fun but took months to get working perfectly
At least in semi-rural NSW I've only ever used "corner shop" or these days it's generally a "servo" but never a "milk bar"
Must be a Melbourne or Adelaide thing those guys are weird
Presumably there are some organisations that use smart cards for EFS encryption in windows but not sure if BitLocker supports it
Because two resistors in parallel (i.e when RD is shorted to RA) lowers the resistance and pulls the voltage down to a range that identifies the device as an audio device to the charger

Top is as the RPI is effectively configured, Bottom is how it should be.
It seems that there has been a bit more adoption of it since I last checked which must have been a while ago, I'm surprised to see Telstra on the list!
Since most consumers don't care, and CG-NAT bandaids the problem I don't see how the market will be motivated to spend the time/money to bring us IPv6. We're probably going to be stuck with shitty bandaid solutions for a while
