i was literally just looking for some kind of font for my personal site and this is super cool.
Kylejeong21··on What is GEO and why is no one building in it?
Perplexity has been good to me so far, there's always going to be people trying to game the system so
Kylejeong21··on Ghostty 1.0
this is way better than using warp (ai gen terminal).

i'd rather use a nice-looking and well designed (UX) terminal than have to use a clunky ai native one.

we got culture in AI before GTA VI
Kylejeong21··on NVIDIA Releases Jetson Orin Nano Super
beat me to it, interesting conversation though
Kylejeong21··on NVIDIA Releases Jetson Orin Nano Super
didn't see this, just saw it on twitter lol
Kylejeong21··on NVIDIA Releases Jetson Orin Nano Super
Wow, Nvidia's holiday drop is already better than all of the current openai drops and basically any other drop that could come out this winter.

These small but mighty GPUs pack a punch, and 10 of these nano GPUs has equivalent VRAM to an H100 GPU, at just a fraction of the cost. (2500 before tax)

I can see a lot of mini clusters or self hosted inference being done with these GPUs, and seeing as they already are being sold out everywhere goes to show that Nvidia isn't going anywhere in this AI trend.

Kylejeong21··on Devin Is Actually Good?
subtle greptile plug from the CEO

but yeah does end up having a monthly ACU (agent compute unit) that it can use, but we'll see over time if it ends up being a worth it investment for smaller dev teams

Kylejeong21··on Devin Is Actually Good?
also would like to hear thoughts from people that have actually been using it
Kylejeong21··on GitHub Wrapped 2024
Spotify has their wrapped to see what music you listened to in the last year,

But where have you been committing?

Have you really been coding as much as you say you are?

Check it out !!

Kylejeong21··on AI Outbound Sales Agents
hey HN,

trying to see if there's demand for this idea. i've seen people build this out internally, but that i guess shows that people are using something like this:

AI agents to automate outbound enterprise sales

lets say exec@company.com signs up for a free trial,

the agents would find info on the person/company, save the data and send personalized outbound

either with human in the loop, or fully automated.

anyone want to use this?

Kylejeong21··on [dead]
i feel like all of the ai friends stuff is going to be big, but i'm not sure if that's really a good thing. companies should be using AI to improve human connections, not to connect to robots.

I also agree with you to an extent. Hacker News is for winding down and reading, but not everyone runs on the same schedule or has the same needs. If you enjoy reading through everything and it helps you wind down, then I wouldn't recommend this for you. I think it's better if you do what's best for your own personal goals.

Plus this is sort of a side project for me and users are just an added bonus.

Curious, what is harmony?

I find that some people tend to doomscroll here much like how people do on twitter or tiktok. Hackletter only filters by the articles that are trending that day.
