KumarAseem··on India: the Story You Never Wanted to Hear
I totally disagree to, "that this type of looking and curiosity is part of how Indians generally are." Indians or for the matter of fact every human being is curious. But the stares described are not of curiosity but of lust, of wanting that body to satisfy a temporarily desire and then to boast about it to the friends. The biggest reason for such behaviour is the lack of respect that is given to a female in the Indian society. For every male god, there is an equally powerful or even more powerful a female god and we (quite a lot) Indians will go every day to the temple to ask the lady god for fulfillment of wishes but as soon as we are home we treat our wife, mother, sister with no respect at all.

Not only the males are to be blamed for turning India into a male society but also women. There are many (hell lot) women in India who want a son (still do not understand the reason). If they have a girl and a boy and no matter how good the girl is when compared to the boy, the boy will always get more love and attention.

I am an Indian and have lived all my life here and in many parts of the wonderful country. But it makes me sad to see the state we are going into.

KumarAseem··on “NASDAQ is owned.” Five men charged in largest financial hack ever
Their actions might have been illegal but they for sure are good at breaking things and their skills should be used instead of throwing them in jail for 20 years. Counsel them and give them a change to reform themselves.
KumarAseem··on NSA code in Android
After reading a lot of other people comments on all the aspects of trusting open source or not I do believe now that even if something is open source does not mean it should be trusted by default. I am sure (could be wrong) that a lot of code in linux (shell & apps) would have never been peer reviewed or peer reviewed but by those who are not extremely good at understanding how things are hidden.

After all NSA has some of the brightest minds on its payroll and those guys sure know computers better than some people know the back of their hands.

But do the non-tech users and tech users (who are not great at programming) have a choice? We have to use what is available in the market if we want to use computers.

KumarAseem··on A close look at how Oracle installs deceptive software with Java updates
Java isn't what it used to be. The products written in Java are slow, bad looking and less secure. The days of Java are anyways numbered.
KumarAseem··on The Bribery Aisle: How Wal-Mart Used Payoffs To Get Its Way in Mexico
The same is about to happen in my country, India. Over here also corruption is rampant and the laws are lax. I have stopped shopping from Super markets unless the item is not available anywhere else. I guess that is the only solution the public has at its hand and can be easily implemented.
