KJs6ZxELzQM37O··on Android 17 is the first since 3.x to add new APIs without releasing to the AOSP
The titan chip is still secure. I do not know about "the most secure," but it is very good. The linked article does not relate to the Titan chip anyway. The article is about privilege escalation in the modem, which is a separate component with its own privileges that does not automatically translate to the AP, userspace/kernel, or titan unless there is a chain attack we are unaware of. The reduced attack surface is because of Google's isolation design.

You can disable system apps as long as they are not marked as critical or persistent apps that must be enabled for the system to work. adb pm disable --user 0 <whatever> is stronger the ui app info disable button.
KJs6ZxELzQM37O··on Introducing Atlas: the first multimodal world model
Didn't Google show something exactly like this before? How is it "first"?
KJs6ZxELzQM37O··on Anthropic Sued for False Advertising on Claude Max Subscription Usage Limits
The claim for context, advertised vs actual: Max 5x = ~3.5x Pro weekly usage. Max 20x = 6x to 8x Pro weekly usage.
KJs6ZxELzQM37O··on New Mac mini, featuring M6 and M5 Pro
The "up to" and "Yx" compared to three generations ago specs from Apple. Never change.
KJs6ZxELzQM37O··on GrapheneOS protections against data extraction from locked devices
I would not think it is fairly easy. The only real physical attack I can think of is to somehow to remove the delay throttles and brute force unlocking the device. This would be feasible for digits PIN, but not if you include characters. I am curious if you had something else in mind.
KJs6ZxELzQM37O··on Android Developer Verification: Threat masquerading as protection
There is a good solution. A big disclaimer and the user accepting the risk of running the software they want. The same solution they've been doing for years that did not need change. The new developer program is only here because it is more convenient to Google and governments.
KJs6ZxELzQM37O··on Raspberry Pi Pico W as USB Wi-Fi Adapter
I recently bought Pico 2 W for DualSense (https://github.com/awalol/DS5Dongle).
KJs6ZxELzQM37O··on Kernel code removals driven by LLM-created security reports
A lot of money seems to be placed to find bugs in open source projects right now... maybe they can spend just a little bit of this money on people to fix these bugs
