Before I read this I wasn't entirely clear on the benefits of using mixpanel - I'm definitely going to look into using this in my own businesses and projects.
This policy might not change much, but it will level the playing field for Reddit's diversity recruiting efforts. It's too bad that the few feminists there are in tech like Ellen Pao get so much criticism for trying to change an extremely male-biased industry.
I'll admit to being the multi-tasker during some meetings, but that's usually in response to an inefficient meeting wasting my time. I'd much rather at least be getting something done. In fact, I find that the companies where I most enjoy working have the fewest meetings - at my current job there are almost none and it's awesome.
This article is great, but I was wondering more about some uncommon techniques for each of these subject areas. For example, is there a way to build backlinks by turning in-person partnerships into online assets? Great article but I wish it had beed a little more in depth.
I live here in Turkey and the power outage was a real pain more than anything else. My family that lives outside the country was more worried about me than people in the country were.
