I would imagine this would be difficult to translate, unless "bar" has the two same meanings in language it is translated to. There might also be confusion where aquatic birds fit in, or if there a reference to the passage of time?

Isn't that only true if the universe is infinitely old as well as infinitely large?
Anyways, the image I was commenting is the one clicking on the thread title takes you to. The head is definitely missing:

What image do you see the head as being "clearly visible"?
I can see the use of such a list for example on a team wiki as a reminder of what the team considers good practice.
Sure there are exceptions to most rules, but break them only if you know what you are doing and are able to justify doing so.
But you are really arguing in general against such lists like this, that don't "examine the nuance". But perhaps they are useful discussion point or memory joggers. And shouldn't the senior members of a team or managers explain to novices the importance of meeting such milestones that you mentioned?
But isn't this just stating the obvious, e.g. don't measure success by lines of code written, number of commits, number of bugs fixed...? And there is nothing wrong in stating the obvious, especially as when it is not obvious to some people.
FYI the term "unionist" refers to those in NI who want the union with Britain to be maintained, not as someone looking in from outside would assume those who want a union with Southern Ireland. Those are "nationalists".
