That’s not intelligence that’s computers having better memory than humans. Useful, certainly, but hardly skynet.

I invite you to do this experiment; find someone who you think is stylish, note what they’re wearing, then shop for something similar but with pockets. It’ll probably take you ten minutes online.
The bug to which I refer has been open for over a year and is well replicated on my hardware and distro. I would fix it myself but I can’t be bothered so I use Bluetooth (in one of the rare cases were there’s an audio problem on Linux and the solution is Bluetooth).
As of an hour ago, plugging a trrs headset into the jack on my laptop breaks audio until I go kick the daemon. Linux is a pain in the neck.
Edit: how can something be “technically” true if the word has no definition?
Does it suck that it’s taking so long? Of course. Unfortunately, that’s how the system works.
Isn’t this the point though? Does it actually require that much gear to get measurements that are accurate enough that no human can perceive the difference? With harmonic distortion for instance, we know what is inaudible and yet people keep lauding companies that push ever farther past it.
Edit: or pay for one month of streaming for like 10% of that cost if it’s about the money. This is why there isn’t (and won’t be) an upscaled DS9.
Hope that helps.
Life is about doing things, if all you do is think about things you’re broken.
The opposite is true for me. I’ve suckered my employer into paying me to do something I do for free on my own time. What fools.
