GlacierFox··on September 2026: The world today, as seen by one Polish guy
That wasn't what they're referring to. What are you talking about? They're literally talking about land for migrants. Literally the comment says that.
GlacierFox··on Amazon seeks to offload $8B of Nvidia chips to investors
Not sure I understand this hypothesis. GPUs age like leftover dinner unlike crude oil...

You notice anything different about him? Look at his face.
GlacierFox··on September 2026: The world today, as seen by one Polish guy
There's no land in China?
GlacierFox··on AI needs $6T in annual revenue to justify data centre boom
Because you've hosted the code on github and the Readme is for humans but you've even slopped that. I mean who TF does that? Rarely see something so moronic while browsing someone's github project. Wtf. =)
GlacierFox··on Show HN: NSL – WSL for Linux
The condescending way the comment was written...
GlacierFox··on AI needs $6T in annual revenue to justify data centre boom
20 years? They need 6 trillion soon...
GlacierFox··on AI needs $6T in annual revenue to justify data centre boom
What's up with that absolute word salad of a README? Is that slop as well?
GlacierFox··on AI needs $6T in annual revenue to justify data centre boom
The title. Are you an AI?
GlacierFox··on Bug: Border radius has infected VSCode editor
Some people really get sour when others politely point out grammatical mistakes they've made on a written forum. It's understandable as some people don't really do it tactfully and it can come across abrasive. Then there's a special kind of person who gets sour and snarky over someone politely pointing out grammatical mistakes other people have made.
GlacierFox··on Abandoning Scientific Linux Was a Mistake
Urgh. Thanks for saving me a click.
GlacierFox··on I don't want to read what you didn't write
For real. I mean aren't people supposed to be smart here? This is brain decay in action.
GlacierFox··on AI-generated posters don’t have to be horrible
Well, that's you. A lot of people like posters to be designed by real people, no matter how rubbish they look, especially if it's a cultural event or something based around people and human connection. AI posters, with AI stall signs, with AI flyers, with AI descriptions. Fucking depressing, man.
GlacierFox··on AI-generated posters don’t have to be horrible
"Organizing an event is hard..." Not with AI. You could use AI to organize it and make some AI posters. Ask AI to design everything. Make it digital and have only AI's come.
GlacierFox··on Microsoft exec called AI scraping 'the largest theft of labor in human history'
There's some nuance there you're purposefully/ignorantly supressing to create a more impactful fundamentalist observation, completely contrary to the comment you described above as :

"heart-string-pulling "life's work got appropriated" argument"

I think the water is very muddy in regards to this topic and comments like yours really highlight the distain some people have for others that have talking points about with things they create being thrown into a gargantuan 'blender' as you called it.

GlacierFox··on Flet 1.0 – Build cross-platform apps in Python
I used it quite a bit for writing tools for applications like Maya and Blender as it's the only fully supported API surface. I take it it's pretty bad for anything more complex. I notice it's used quite a bit in science and math communities too.
GlacierFox··on Hister: A private search engine for the pages you visit and the files you keep
I thought that said Hitler at first.
GlacierFox··on Fujitsu launches made-in-Japan next-generation CPU FUJITSU-MONAKA
> Oh god you're one of those. People who complain about taxes have historically been on the wrong side of arguments.

Oh you're one of those. The arrogance is astounding. You never been a country which overly taxes it's citizens and squanders the gains on bureaucracy and monetary black holes? Grow up, your ideological blind spots are making you look like a fool.

GlacierFox··on The Beauty of Roundabouts
"I failed a driving test because someone cut across me on a roundabout." That driver may have cut across you on that roundabout but that doesn't mean roundabouts are a footgun.
GlacierFox··on Houthis 'take control' of key island in global shipping route
de iure - Original classic Latin spelling. Lovely.
GlacierFox··on What will our economic future look like?
This isn't going to compute with the AI evangelists on here.
GlacierFox··on iPhone Duo
I think he's highlighting the all the bullshit the Apple Watch comes with has ended up meaningless crap after initially buying in to the Apple Watch hype for this guy. A laptop is a fundamentally different category than a calculator in both utility and capability.
GlacierFox··on Flock Wants a Closely Surveilled World with No Exit
Could I come and spray paint the front of your house? In protest of course.
GlacierFox··on QBittorrent breaks out of sandbox to commit crimes
I've found it to be full of completely out of touch basement-type neck beards with questionable consciences. They're both shit holes.
GlacierFox··on How accurate have Ed Zitron's AI skeptic predictions been?
You said "Right, you're very much his target audience."

I read that as a bit of a snarky jibe.

You implied you weren't his target audience so asked if you're on the other side of it - deep in AI psychosis.

GlacierFox··on Iceland votes on whether to restart talks on joining EU
"Immigrants, no matter how many millions, can never cause the same harm to a fellow working European as a politician who stripes away your human rights."

See this is the point where you're so out of touch with reality it's truely perplexing.

Both things are horrifically damaging to a country and it's residents. Thanks for outlining the things you've 'heard'. I see my country tearing itself apart at the seams and there's people like you say there with a shrug of the shoulders telling us we're all fascists.

GlacierFox··on OpenShot 4.0 – Open-source video editor
You'll not get any sense from open source abdolutionists. Your question will not compute.
GlacierFox··on Iceland votes on whether to restart talks on joining EU
"Another problem is border fascism. Europe has open borders internally, but very closed borders externally. The external borders are being militarized and increasingly hostile towards immigrants and asylum seekers. European politicians are showing increasingly fascistic behavior towards the borders. It is bad, and inhumane, and it is braking Europe apart."

What planet are you living on? Border fascism? What?

70,000 'migrants' crossed into Cueta a short while back and the place is in turmoil now.

"European politicians are showing increasingly fascistic behavior towards the borders"

Where do people like you come from? I'm always interested in this utterly surreal take on enforcing the border of your own country, like that's now fascist. What's going on here?

There's not many positions that leave me utterly perplexed. I'm sincerely asking, how you hold your position on this? What have you experienced in life to end up with these opinions? What benefit is flooding Europe with literally anyone from all the backward cultured shit holes from around the world?

GlacierFox··on Anti-AI fonts are useless and harmful
What a nonsensical comment. Are you experiencing painful cognitive dissonance?
