Unfortunately whenever I see the name, I am always reminded of part of the anatomy
FreezingKeeper··on US and Iran agree to provisional ceasefire
Not really practical to exempt Spain even if they wanted to, with Spain being within the EU and therefore able to freely move goods and services to other EU nations.

FreezingKeeper··on ThreeUK blocks access to encrypted provider Tutanota due to 'age restriction'
They do [0]. You can also do it in their app if you are on a contract and therefore over 18 by definition.

FreezingKeeper··on Home Assistant OS Release 8
...which is another OSS project from the Home Assistant team :)
FreezingKeeper··on Vuescan – Software support for 6500 abandoned scanners
Another long-term Vuescan user here. From memory it was the Mac OS 9 to Mac OS X transition and lack of vendor support for the new OS that caused me to seek it out. The only thing I would love for them to add would be a way for the app to self-update.
FreezingKeeper··on How Putin’s Oligarchs Bought London
Not blocked here on 3. You’re right in that the networks often have the “adult content” filter (porn, gambling etc.) turned on, but you should be able to turn it off pretty easily. I suspect it’s that filtering that’s blocking archive.org for you

FreezingKeeper··on Microsoft is ditching Electron for Teams
There is no 'native' Mac app. Also everyone I've worked with at MS uses Teams in the browser. So I suspect not many at MS even use the desktop app.
FreezingKeeper··on Ask HN: How do I move up my career/life?
There’s a lot of self-deprication in your post. “Sorry if I wasted your time” and “Maybe they decided I might never improve”.

You are worthy and this random internet stranger cares. Imagine for a moment you have the opportunity to ask anyone you imagine to be on HN what they could give you. What would you ask for?

FreezingKeeper··on Amazon reverses course, expands work-from-home options
> There's nothing that prevents productivity on remote work that can't be handled with the right tools, skills and attitude

Firstly, congrats! It's something I'm working towards myself, and the pandemic looks like it will be a significant opportunity to try and achieve it.

However, perhaps you're minimising your expertise here and the learnings and experience that the employer and the worker need to go through to make it work.

Anything to share here?
